@@midlevelmedia I rarely buy movies. My preferred medium of entertainment is video games, of which, I am a physical media collector as well. I mean, I'm not a collector, but I buy as many of the games I can on disc/cart. However, a few times a year, I'll get a bug up my bum and buy a bunch of movies. This is the first time this year I'm doing that. Just this week, I searched for a classic Godzilla collection and came across your video on the Criterion set. I don't own any classic Godzilla, and am super sad to see that, not only is that Criterion collection pretty weak, feature-wise, but only about half the movies. I also saw one of your videos mentioning a Shaw bros collection that I was eyeing...then bought. Anyways, a few videos of yours later and I subbed, which is rare for me to do. I guess us physical media guys just know what's up. Oh, by the way, I have like $350 worth of blu-ray/uhd coming in over the next month or so. It ranges from The Fly collection, kung-fu and kaiju. Should be a great month for me as long as nothing is damaged in transit.
@@24framedavinci39 Nice man! I used to be huge into gaming myself. Got a couple videos showing off my games from way back. Thank you for the sub and comment!
Great arrow collection. I have my arrow collection vid dropping this month as well. My favorite company. So want to spotlight there releases I own as well. Great job
Great collection Ken. I probably have around 100 Arrow movies in my collection. I love the dedication they put into the special editions. I’m with you I bought so many movies this year that I have stacks and stacks I’ve not seen yet. I’m home under quarantine right now so I’m finally catching up on some right now.
Jb hifi in Australia have the Imprint boutique label in their stores. I bought their horror classic the Catman of Paris 1946 on blu ray direct from Imprint.
Does anyone know correct sizes of protective sleeves for Arrow films. Been searching for Killer Dames protective sleeve amongst others, impossible to find?
One Arrow title I recommend is Eaten Alive. It's an early Tobe Hooper movie and features a young Robert Englund. Outside of horror, I also like the Mallrats and Pitch Black sets. I love Romero and I own a good amount of his movies but I think I prefer the Crazies remake to the original.
I'm pissed off my best buy Didn't have karate kid 4k set or Roger Rabbit. Thank God I pre-order Roger Rabbit steelbook. But for now on I'm going to Amazon. I has enough of Best buy b.s.
It looks like Arrow put out True Romance in 4K, but only in the UK. This would be a day 1 purchase for me, so any idea if it’s coming to the U.S. anytime soon?
Arrow was always my favourite boutique label but I’ve recently started to get more into criterion than arrow now, my arrow collection is: American werewolf in London Audition Bicycle thieves Big trouble in little China Boondock saints Carrie Cinema paradiso 4k Crimson peak Donnie darko 4k big box Dune 4k big box Eric rohmer 6 movie set Fear and loathing in Las Vegas big box Heathers My life as a dog Network Robocop big box Sixteen candles Society The thing Three brothers The ring trilogy Female prisoner scorpion set True romance 4k Gamera heisei and showa boxsets And then with their Christmas sale I ordered: America as seen by a Frenchman, Ivansxtc, forbidden photos of a lady above suspicion, [rec], the big clock, the bloodstained butterfly, dinner in America and the stylist
I am not really a follower of boutique labels but more of what movies I like and where I can get the best version of them. I guess, I get more Scream/Shout Factory titles but do have some Arrow, Second Sight (Dawn of the Dead 4k edition), Criterion, and Kino Lober(many more of those lately- enjoy my older nostalgia movies).
The original Crazies is one of my favorite films of all time. Rewatching it now, it looks more realistic (almost documentary style) due to its non overly produced style. The remake was scarier but the original has more disturbing scenes, irony, and pay-off at the end.
I only have 3 Arrow Video releases at the moment ('Sixteen Candles,' 'Weird Science' and 'Donnie Darko Collector's Edition') but have looked at their sale and plan to pick up a couple more ('Crimes of Passion' and 'Gosford Park'). Although I don’t have a lot of Arrow's editions, I would rank them second to Criterion Collection for the special features and the way they treat their releases.
My 1st boutique ever was Criterions Its a mad mad mad mad world and my first Arrow was The Last Starfighter (it was also the 1st dvd I ever bought) then I had to buy Mallrats and Weird Science. I have to be really picky when buying these because of the cost. I Also love House and House 2 (think 2 is better then 1... also Creepshow 2 is my fave of those releases ) love the raft story on Creepshow 2
Edge of the Axe looks awesome Ken I think have creepshow 2 as well Deadly manor looks awesome Ken I need to check it out I have the remake of the Crazies I really enjoyed it but I've never seen the original I really love children of the corn
@@midlevelmedia ugh I know the feeling I had a couple of coworkers get Covid recently and I did 19 days in a row. I’m 61 and have a very physical job. It was tough. Now I’m home with Covid after being surrounded by it since the beginning. Doing fine though very mild symptoms.
Dennis Hopper is the actor that messed up Waterworld? I thought it was Costner's terrible, usual, "acting"? I loved the movie, and Hopper always shines for me. I always avoid Costner movies, yet I make an exception for Waterworld because of everything else about the movie.
Arrow knows how to make some stellar releases. I still consider the Tremors release to be one of the overall best in my entire collection.
My first Arrow buy was Weird Science and it really opened my eyes to boutique blurays.
Arrow has just entered my radar space this week. It seems like a lot of people really enjoy what they are doing.
To me, they are hands down the best of all the labels as far as their packaging, features, transfers. Nobody comes close!

What kind of tv do you watch your movies on?
Great Arrow collection. Thanks for sharing 👍👍

Great Collection. Awesome boxsets.
Some good stuff here. I dont have many Arrow releases but they kill it with cover art and PQ.
Jb hifi in Australia have the Imprint boutique label in their stores. I bought their horror classic the Catman of Paris 1946 on blu ray direct from Imprint.
Arrow is definitely climbing my list as favorite distributor. So many awesome transfers and amazing attention to detail. Fast shipping too 👍
They rule!
Glad we both agree that deep red is the best argento. I absolutely love that film

Cinema Paradiso is an Italian film not Spanish Ken. It’s one of my fav films! :-)
do these movies work on a US ps5?
Not another comment about the films..BUT 101th like 😂😁
I still need to watch my copy of Deep Red.
i like the arrows
I like the way you say sci-fi :)
I have just discovered Arrow Academy.
Creepshow is definitely a better movie, but out of all the shorts between the 2 movies, I think The Raft is the best one.
WE WANT AN ARROW VIDEO COLLECTION UPDATE
I agree. This video has 60 titles from Arrow. I bet Ken has 3x that now.
Wow. Some great editions there.
I have a few of them myself.
Arrow do some wonderful releases
Excellent collection! I'm planning on making Crimson Peak my first Arrow purchase. I also prefer it over The Shape of Water.
Awesome! Thanks for watching! I'm planning to update this collection video as I have way more Arrows now. Hope you check that out!

Ive seen Alice Sweet Alice its not as gory as i remember.
thats werid no audio
Okay good I thought I was the only 1
what? I have audio.
Should be good now. Sometimes it takes UA-cam a second to provide audio. I'm not sure what the reason is there?
Arrow needs to go completely 4k. It's 4k or nothing now days.
