The bot found one song it objected to, so they are inserting ads in the video and giving the money to some South American music agency. I apologize for the ads. I don't get a dime from them.
Only one small 'thumbnail' popped up at the beginning......otherwise a great UD Hot Rod vid.......I thought for sure there was a band playing but 'one guy' (?) ! Take care, stay safe and 'cool' down there !
I recently saw another Content Creator explain that UA-cam (i.e., Google) recently changed the "rules" and is now inserting (i.e., forcing) ads onto _all_ videos, even if the Content Creators don't want them. The guy decided that instead of deleting his channel, he would go ahead and monetize in order to reduce what Google is making off of _his_ videos a bit (just on principal) _AND_ he gets a bit of control over the types of ads Google sticks into his videos. You might choose to do the same? It's a shame that the so-called DJ there was so loud -- I couldn't make out some of what you said even though your voice usually comes through clearly on most of your videos. But, it was a nice car show! Thanks for sharing it with us.
@@bobvines00 YT is doing it to me too, Bob. I notice ads at the beginning of my videos......despite my disapproval. I may go ahead and monetize for the reasons you stated. Glad you enjoyed what you could hear of the video ;)
Hello Uncle Doug, Glad your doing well and having fun. Thank you for sharing the car show, some really sweet rides. Yes, who are we to say. Did you say a nap? I'm down! Been busy with a complete home interior remodel, refresh. New windows, insulation, rock, floors, doors, etc.. Quite the project, making good progress, oh yeah, can lights throughout, it's turning out nice. If I was tired, that would be a good thing. All the Best from Oregon, Cass.
Thanks for sharing! I love car shows, but because of some health issues, I haven't been able to experience the excitement. Looked like it was a perfect day for a show!
@@uncledougshotrodgarage6049 I love ya even more for that fact that the one man band guy drove you nuts too! It was never the less a great video of some awesome. rides. Thank you uncle Doug.
Lots of bling at this show. Gleaming chrome in the sun. What a nice day for a car show. Love those "sleeper" types. They look so innocent sitting there until you see what is under the hood. Glad I didn't have to hear to much of the annoying DJ ,who wants to sell you, for $10 ,some of his warblings.😵
Surprised the actors from Netflix wasn't there. They have the black 1967 Chevrolet called Baby from the series Supernatural . Both lead actors live in Austin Texas
From Leo: I wonder if the steering wheel on the rat rod was from an Olds' Starfire. I grew up close to Nickey Chevrolet in Chicago. You could buy any new Chevy you wanted with non standard Chevy drive train. Lots of big block Chevelles from them. All it took was a big stack of money. Looked like a good day for a car show.
There should have parked a plain Jane 67 Valiant with an ion drive next to the white Mustang and entered them in the "sometimes things are not what they seem category"
The final count for registration was 9400 and change classic automobiles. You can figure another easy 2k that don’t register for CTC. This was the 25th anniversary for CTC and the weather was perfect the whole week.
nice cars.. although the graphics of flames and whatever was on the purple one is not my cup of tea but some pretty cool stuff.. oh i won't be buying the CD rather have jacks! thanks

Thank you! A most enjoyable diversion. Glad to see you are up and out enjoying yourself.
Thanks for joining me, Rich :)
Nice cars. That 'music' would drive me away right quick. That's got to be the best sounding 400 watt 6 inch speaker I've ever heard,
Amen, Don. It was pretty overwhelming :(

It was a beautiful day, Jay. Thanks for joining us.
If only the extension cord feeding the 'musician' could have never existed. Great video, as always. Cheers!
I tried to cut it with some hedge clippers, but the security guard stopped me :)

I'm a big fan of the program, Marcus. Austin is about 600 miles away, so I doubt they will ever show up around here.....but I hope they do :)

It was indeed, Barb. Thanks for watching :)
Enjoyed been awhile. THANKS
Our pleasure, DH.

Great suggestion, Paul.....or one of those early Chrysler turbine-powered cars.
Seems like you see a lot more 5 windows now. All the 3 windows must be in air conditioned garages now 😂 Cheers Doug!
I like them both, Joby, so no matter which type shows up.....I'm happy :)
Thanks
You're welcome, Mack.
That music must have driven you crazy Doug 😂
Yeah, it got pretty tiresome. The guy was in love with his own sound.
Thanks for sharing. We have Cruising the Coast coming up in a couple weeks. Over 7k register as of last month. Should be a bunch fun.
Wow.....I'm jealous, MS. We're lucky to get 70 participants. It does sound like a great event.

Pretty cool video Unc! Keep em comin☮️
Thanks, Richard. Will do :)
I hear the music. Pretty Woman was on near the orange car
It sure was, Marcus. My ears are still ringing :)
Keep it rusty, stops the kids sitting on it!
Good to see you're still ok Doug!
Way better than OK, P. Thanks :)
Did they ban all the T-Birds? 😢
I hope not. They're one of my favorite Ford products.
Good show...Music dude could have toned it down a bit. I dig the ambiance thing, but when it is so loud you can't hear yourself think...well...
Like he was being paid by the decibel.
Agreed, Sean. I think he was inflicting more than entertaining ;)

I agree, George, but I try to avoid being too critical......sometimes the owners watch my videos :)
Nice show Doug... woukd hsve been a good candidate for voice over, but entertaining nonetheless. Nice distraction from the border invasion.
Thanks, Brian. Sorry for the deafening background "music".
Who is trying to lower their windows at 120mph 🤣
I believe it was meant as a joke, P.
