Thank you for another lovely video. That is a delightful, unspoilt area, and means a lot to me. My grandparents lived there, my father was born in Fittleworth, and my eldest son lives right on Stane Street (in Billingshurst). That church tower at Coldwaltham is unlike any other that I know of, and your drone shots showed it to perfection.

Thank you for your kind comments. Pleased the video had some personal connection for you. It is a lovely area, although both Pulborough and Billingshurst have been ruined with the mass of new housing. We were intrigued by the tower; it appears to have wooden louvres, which we have not seen elsewhere.

What a perfect calming video! I watched it twice! Lovely combination of close-ups & sweeping drone footage & in between scenes.
I hadn’t heard of that yew tree. I was glad to see it had a preservation order on it. There is a lady in Wales( where there are a lot of ancient yews,)Janis Fry, who has started a petition to get yews protected- apparently if they are in a churchyard the church can cut them down if they want- they should be automatically protected because of their longevity.
The bridge looked very old and had lost some of its span- the bit tacked on the end didn’t blend in!
Good to see the honeybees & butterflies. I looked at the church tower and wondered how old the opening wooden ‘windows’ were- they all looked functional still. It was very unusual. Thanks so much.

Thank you for your kind comments, Diana; so pleased you enjoyed it.
It is a good idea that yew trees are protected as they are some of the longest-lived trees in the UK.
There is significant history with Greatham bridge, and the C19 iron replacement section does spoil its overall appearance. The stonework has undergone repairs, though I believe I read online recently that some stones had been stolen! We noticed a few were missing.
The wooden louvres on the church seem quite unique. We love these old buildings as they contain, and often hide, so much history. Unfortunately, we do not have the time to delve deep into them.
