Seeing the process was really cool, definitely do more of that!
Awesome video! I’m so happy that you’re going in this direction and I love seeing the process. The moment at 5:20 is so relatable for MOC building!
I watch this while I'm sorting / piecing together sets using Bricklink inventory. I don't have to literally watch all the time because you talk alot like a podcast so I'm still getting your input and following along by hearing you even though I'm not watching with my eyes. So yes, I like this format vs a 1 minute short.
Looks good! I was hesitant about the orange inside, but in the end, it looks really good. I enjoyed this vid and the whole story arc including the dilemma of "do you have the blue piece you need," and the anticipation of the final outcome.
Glad you enjoyed!
I liked your changes and the presentation of them. It’s fun to see the customization as it happens.
Definitely am loving all the customization you've done to this car. The solid blue does look awesome, and the flame orange accents inside really make it pop. I like Coty's headlight idea as well. I'm really excited to see the next thing you build. Awesome video, buddy. Keep inspiring!
A regular yellow stripe through the middle of the car would look pretty cool too.
Making lego sets better is such a cool concept
It’s fun and easy to do. Give it a shot!
The most recent thing I custiomized with a LEGO set was the 501st barc speeder. Making the LEGO design but smaller and slightly more accurate to a fig. Thats the great thing about the hobby is that if want to customize a existing set the only thing stopping you is your imagination and maybe your part count.
16:02, that brick was holding on for dear life under the front of the car lol 😂
I noticed that when editing. That was pretty funny lol
Enjoyed watching you do this and really like the result. Thank you for a full length video rather than a short (not a fan of shorts)
From what I've seen, not many of my viewers enjoy Shorts. Glad to see it!
The solid blue looked better than the light blue and white. I don't know how we got so many more orange pieces than you. It might be that most of our orange pieces are from when my daughter was little. Our legos are a mix from my brother in the 80s, my daughter 90s -early 2000s and now my grandson 2018 until present.
In all honesty I have never considered customizing a pre made lego kit. I've always been of the mind set of building all the models on the box and then tearing it all apart to make something else or keep one made for display. Great video. Great build.
Lots of opportunities with LEGO!
I really like the all blue body but kinda liked the other interior better and the original headlights but that's just personal preference. I do this to sets a lot. Gotta personalize it. I will say that it would be kinda cool to have the rims yellow and the inserts white or blue. It would really make it pop more to me. But not sure if that's possible.
The new series "Gregs Fast and Furious Garage". Love the video
Glad you liked it
Love the mods
Also one of my favorite things to do we with lego sets
The little oddball colored pieces drive me nuts
I turned mine into a DeLorean type time machine build when this set first came out it was one of my rare lego videos that did decent
I think the strip on the hood looked so better
Luckily it's an easy change, but I like the solid color more.
Great video! Here is a cool set: speed campions Doms dodge charger
Looks great! One of the best feelings in the world is having the parts already!
Absolutely
Gotta admit I was a little apprehensive at first, but the customization looks awesome, I do prefer the og headlights, I agree it does make it look a bit older, but that's just a preference thing yk so as long as it's good for you it works, still looks great tho great job
Also love this style of video or sure, you should definitely do more in the future
looks great! love what youve added
At 16:51 a piece was attached to the right bottom of the bumper or left from the driver seat perspective. And well it fell on the floor hopefully you found it im sure you did.
Yep. I thought it was funny how it stayed there
That looks awesome. I never really customized my sets much but I did use a Rebrickable moc to make the visor thinner on the Mandalorian helmet set, which really made it look better.
I’ve seen that mod. Looks much better
the blue gives me Subaru vibes
That's always a good thing!
i also really enjoyed this type of video, very inspring and just entertaining overall!
Thank you very much
Looks great
I liked this style exactly how you did it
Cool blue car
Much better with all blue.
Love the Orange, though i kinda like the white racing stripes (not the Light blue)
I wasn't sure if I was going to just remove the light blue or the white as well and I think after seeing it as a solid color, I like it. It could be because I just built the Mustang that was also blue with white racing stripes.
Looks great! If i did this i would make the wheels also black but idk if they make that part
Yeah, I think I would prefer black wheels also. Doing a quick bit of research on bricklink, I did find out that they do make those rims in black and they came in a speed champions set. There not too expensive as well., but overall I love the rest of the design.
@@lukejohnson8047 ok cool! I collect ninjago so only have a few different types of wheels, so thanks for letting me know!
I wonder if you could modify it to be a Delorean 🤔🤔🤔😀😀😀
I like it good job
Where did you get that set????
no i think it looks awsome good job:)
I WANT CLARK!
Sub to his channel
Hey Greg! Great video. Do you and Clark still play with Nerf?
Once it gets warmer outside we might have a battle
Making me feel delorean vibes for some reason
Maybe I should color swap for gray!
Hell yeah I have changed sets most notably the icons porsche 911
What did you do to it?
@@brickitect I reverted it to a oldskool dutch police car if someone is interested I could send the link of the model I based it on
Does any else think this car resembles Nissan Silvia? (After the customisation)
Or is it just me?
I can see it
Who cares what anyone else thinks? It's your car. Do as you will - and you are saving your pennies and using your bricks to get what you want. And you are organizing more bricks. Woo Hoo!
I'm sharing this with my community. Of course I'm interested in what they think
@@brickitect You can be interested, but you don't really have to care what they think. I'm basically an easy going person, and while I enjoy getting positive feedback, if something makes me happy, I don't care what others think.
