Miniature Doll Dress Forms - Polymer Clay/Fabric Tutorial
Вставка
- Опубліковано 19 сер 2015
- Hi guys! Today we're making these doll dress forms ^^ If you follow me on instagram, you'll have seen me starting this project a little while ago - it took a some time to finish, because I was playing around with making my own two piece mold, so I could cast more forms on plaster. I finally got it to work, so I could get the rest of the tutorial done :)
Good to know:
I work in 1:12 scale, but you can make them in any size you want and add headpins to make them charms :) I used a mix of the polymer clay brands Fimo and Cernit, but you can use any brand you like. The liquid clay I use is from the brand Fimo. My mold maker is from Siligum/Sili-put.
Thank you so much for watching, I hope you enjoyed this video ^^

Question- can we get hold of that template you used!?!? It would be very helpful!!
Wow!! When I saw this on Instagram I was so excited! This looks so so so wonderful! Love this so much
mysweet cornercrafts Thanks :D
I adore your creations, really kool, im definitely going to try make this xx
I know a much easier way to do a mannequin. You can wrap a doll's body with cling wrap, then press it in clay to get the imprint.(DO NOT WAIT FOR THE CLAY TO DRY BEFORE FINISHING THE PROJECT!!!!) Do this for the front and back. Fill the two imprints with hot glue. Wait for it to cool down. Take the two resulting halves out of the clay (it should be easy if you did not wait for too long). You can sculp the space needed for the peg at the bottom of the two halves. Once you are sure the stick you choose will fit the hole, you can glue the two halves together, and put the stick in the hole.
the most awaited video! good job girl ^^
Jiya Malik Thanks ^^

Hi ,love your tutorials,
I'm in to miniatures, fairy gardens. I have been wanting to make a miniature Victrola to add to my fairy Gardens.I have not found diy tutorial yet and have asked craters on UA-cam,so far no one has responded. The Miniature Victrolas are so expensive on line.I hope you consider making a realistic one with wood, metal or make it look like wood metal.Their also called Gramophones,if u need a pic I can send you several. I have posted 3 on Instagram.
thank you so much and hope you decide to make a tutorial.
thanks again.:)
+Butterfly Lilly I'm glad you enjoy my videos :) I'll add your request to my list and try and make it sometime in the future :)

Love this! Where did you find the template online? Can you share that with us? I'm lazy, I use woodsies for the bottom of stands instead of making them out of Fimo. Tsk, tsk. I'm still wondering and asking if you provide scaled printables/patterns, for 1:12 scale for any or all of your mini videos. Yes, No? Beautiful work, as always! Thank you.
