Miniature Vintage Suitcase - Tutorial

- Hi guys! Today's project is this miniature doll trolley suitcase ^^ I went for a floral vintage look, but you can change it up by using different fabric and decorations. The base of the suitcase is made from popsicle stick, so it's easy to work with and don't require a ton of strange materials. I made this to fit a 1:12 scale doll, but you can make it to fit any doll - the wood base make it sturdier than if you make it with polymer clay :)
Good to know:
I work in 1:12 scale, but you can make them in any size you want and add headpins to make them charms :) I used a mix of the polymer clay brands Fimo and Cernit, but you can use any brand you like. The liquid clay I use is from the brand Fimo. My mold maker is from Siligum/Sili-put.

That has got to be the very best miniature suitcase i have ever seen made by an artisan. I also like your fast paced videos and the way you make it all look so easy, Thank you. I will try making one or two for sure.
It would probably also help to bend the free ends of the metal handle inwards so that it catches on the wood and doesn't pull all the way out.

Hi. I think this is really cute but I thought I might offer a bit of constructive criticism concerning the pull up handle.
Maybe if you bent the concealed ends of the pull up handle inwards towards the centre a bit it would help make sure the handle doesn't go missing. I know it would be easy to put back in should you pull it out but I thought if it fell out while you were transporting it and you didn't notice it would save you or anyone who makes as one from the hassle of having to make a replacement handle.
In any case the suitcase is really adorable and so is everything else you make. Keep doing what you're doing and have a nice day/night depending on what time of day it is.

AkameruKawaii, great video! Love ALL of your videos! I have a question that isn't about this video, but I've heard you mention it in other videos. I make miniatures but I also make soap. I color my soap using powder micas. Could I mix those powder micas in glaze to paint miniatures or are the micas you mentioned a different kind?

finalmente hiciste la maleta ? la tela es cinta de satin o satin para forro, le aplicas una capa de cola blanca diluida en agua y ella la pinto por no tener el color que queria .espero que asi sea tarde te sirva mi respuesta.pues

I live in the U.S. I can't find the glue that you are using. I tried another fabric glue but it seeps through the fabric. Should I use a special kind of fabric or treat the fabric so that it does not seep. Do you have any idea as to what specific glue brand I can use in the U.S.A.? Thank you very much. Your video was awesome!
+Estellamed sadly I don't know any us brands, but I would go for a glue with a thick gel like consistancy :)

+Liza de Fasquelle the one I use to stick on the fabric, is thick and doesn't seep through the fabric. The second is thin and good for sealing the edges of the fabric :)
