What he did took guts..respect
Met Brian one time very briefly. He was super cool and very nice. I applaud him for having the courage to follow his heart for his daughter and his convictions. I'm also glad to see that Korn has cleaned up and are playing together again. It's like a Rock and Roll fairy tale with a happy ending.
you can tell that Munky and Jon took head leaving harder because every time this is spoken up their facial expressions and demeanor changes
jesus is talking to them every time he mentions jesus entering his heart. this usually happens when people feel the presence of lord jesus. too bad he holds back around them.

Watch more interviews with them and you will see he doesn't hold back. You know it is possible for Christians and non-Christians to co-exist and even (gasp!) be friends, without whacking each other about the head (pun intended) with the Bible. Shocking I know.

Considering that millions of fans watch him play Korn live with songs that say f--- this and f--- that and head is so easily able to just Jam out to that and give guitar lessons on the songs, I'm pretty sure my comment holds a lot more weight than what yours does right now!!!

I curse all the time, I also witness to people and invite people to the truth of Christ. I've asked for forgiveness of my sins and I'm forgiven. We (Christians) aren't perfect, but the fact that we believe in God and recognize Jesus as our savior makes us Christians... and saying "fuck" doesn't change that. You shouldn't judge others based on what you see on the outside, especially not their relationship with Christ.

I commend him for sticking to his convictions. Leaving a successful project wasn't easy for him, and yet, he was faithful. Head, there is no love loss here. Congrats, brother.

I met Brian Head Welch and his daughter jennea at zia records in tempe one year for the release of save me from myself. I couldn't muster up the words to speak to him really other than how happy he seemed and how happy i was to see him and spoke not of korn but rather of him taking care of himself because i was like 12 or 13 at the time and KoRn was one of my favorite bands as a kid. I simply got to give him a hug, shake his hand, take a phot, get my cd and poster signed and be on my way.
As much as I hate established religion I'm glad it saved him.

gummoboy333 they all did look like it, but people who follow korn know the whole band is more than happy to have him back! its just a tough story to hear, it was a dark time in their lives but they are all back ad happy now
I don't think they look pissed they look pensive; reflective. Their friend almost died and am I sure that weights on them. All the band members have admitting to making mistakes during that time and have forgiven each other. Now it's time for the fans to move on and stop seeing drama where there is none.

Head is secretly one of the most talented guitarist ever he does things nobody else really did before the way him and Munky play together like one or multiple guitars at once the 7 strings the weird whammy not whammy bar thing they invented and patented to keep their instruments in that unorthodox tune who else did anything like that in the last 30 years ?
I pray that Brian has TRULY accepted the Lord and is being the Man that his Family deserves!

I agree, but at the same time... The poor other guys in the band having to have this thorn in the side of their career twisted once more. I'm happy for Head becoming healthy, finding Christ, Peace and becoming a good father... But I do feel for the band and how hard that must've been. I'm proud of them for forgiving Brian and moving forward.

how would you feel ,in jonathans and munkys place , they also have family and kids, touring all the time and then this head quits ! ok than you think to your self it's nothing for him . But then suddently the dues got bigger and head noticed he won't get far whit his solo career so hi jumped back and they don't want to kick him out i don't know why, but in my place he wouldn't just come and leave on my door oh noo

I don't think they look pissed. At one point JD even nods his head as if agreeing with him. I think they look pensive; reflective. They were being asked a questions so they stayed quiet. When someone is taking about something as personal as what Head went through it's better to respect them give them their moment. I think that's what Monky and JD did.
First to people jumping to his defense we aren't pissed he found happiness in god. We are upset that he needs a imaginary spaghetti monster to tell him to take care of his daughter and quit drugs. I respect those that can look at something and decide it is bad or good without others telling them it is and head just fell short of that respect and that sucks.
The thing is, that "something" that allows a human to decide whether something is "good" or "bad" can be called a number of things. Some say it's our "conscience"- (literally "with science"). Others say it's "God" or "The Universe" or whatever. Point being, humans are one of the few species on the planet that can actually discern "fairness", "loyalty", and other behaviors that make us human. So it's not really "others" as in "other people" telling him anything - it's something larger than that that separates us from other animals. Call it "God", "Spiritualism" or just "Conscience" - it's all the same thing. It's IN us, not separate from us. Sociopaths lack this "6th sense" and are unable to discern right from wrong as a result.
His healing by Jesus got him clean and off the path of destruction. Don't get it twisted. All he did was accept the help. If you had been through it, you'd understand. Other than that I totally agree with you. The "woe is me" people who say the world is out to get them and they can't go out and fight for what they want... that's annoying. Figure out what you naturally excel at and pivot it to your advantage. In Head's case... he was a person who leveraged his abilities and unfortunately ended up too far down the path of a Rockstar and got lost.

I whole heartedly believe that Head is still following Christ but between Love and Death and Korn his message seems lost or watered down. His first album was extremely blunt and to the point about his beliefs. Now it just sounds like metal with clean lyrics
Maybe the particular church wasn't particularly "Jesus-centric". While belief that Jesus was God in the flesh and etc is central to all versions of Christianity, there are plenty of structured churches (Roman Catholics for example) that are more about dogma than about the "personal Jesus" that evangelicals believe in. To each his/her own. Whatever worked for 'Head' is A-OK for me. Actually it's not about him anyway - it's about that daughter he brought into the world. Kids need parents who are able to act and make decisions like ADULTS.
Head is not hiding nor denying anything. He has said I AM BORN AGAIN over and over in interviews. Do you guys know that while touring with Korn Head is also doing engagements at local churches? Well, he is. Just because he is not doing what you would do doesn't mean he's doing it wrong. Last time I checked Head is not nor has to answer to you. The discussion of how he is inspired to praise and worship is between Head and God and quite frankly none of anyone's' business.
