RIP to the 14 year old boy Tyre Sampson who fell to his death over 70 ft high on this ride march of 2022. The ride's weight limit was 286 lbs. well Tyre was 383 lbs. The poor boy knew something was wrong and started panicking as soon as it started going up. He was sitting next to two of his best friends and said to them something like: "If I don't make it down, safely, please tell my momma and daddy i love them.". The ride also was NOWHERE near safe in the first place. According to investigations, the ride only had PLASTIC push into place harnesses to keep you safe. And the harnesses were supposed to lock in at the rider's legs. It couldn't reach Tyre's legs, so it was like when you slide a over the shoulders harness over yourself on a rollercoaster before they come and lock each of them in place. So obviously when at the top, the ride tilted forward before dropping, as it was intended and manufactured to do, and the harness probably slid up, causing him to fall. I can't imagine how scared he was knowing he might not get off of this, consciously, that is. Also, a woman riding was worried about the safety of her and the riders and said something like: "there isn't any belts or anything else to keep us safe?!" And the operator said something like: "there ain't no seatbelts." Again, RIP to the poor, poor Tyre Sampson. 😞 🪦
"The ride also was NOWHERE near safe in the first place." Except it was. Tyre fell out because his seat had been adjusted to allow obese people to ride. Had that not happened, the ride computer wouldn't have cleared his restraint as "locked" and he would've been told to get off. "the ride only had PLASTIC push into place harnesses to keep you safe." This doesn't mean anything. It's not like the harness broke. "and the harness probably slid up, causing him to fall." No, the harness was always locked. It just wasn't tight enough. He slid under it. Restraints can't just pop open for no reason. "Also, a woman riding was worried about the safety of her and the riders and said something like: "there isn't any belts or anything else to keep us safe?!" And the operator said something like: "there ain't no seatbelts."" This also doesn't mean anything. People are scared of rides not having enough restraint all the time. It doesn't make that fear justified, and this ride was no exception. Seatbelts would not have been needed on this ride if the ride was operated the way it was intended to operate. AKA, if all riders were within the weight limits of the ride, there's no way any of them could've slid out. Look at how the restraint overlaps the seat in this video.
Notice how when the ride drops and you look at the smaller view of his lap, towards the end of the drop before it brakes look how his body in the crotch area moves forward towards the bump where seat belts usually are and then once the ride stops his body tilted back into original position. You know the 14 year old that passed didnt stand a chance when his body did that and he slid right through when the rode began to brake
@@TheSleepyWarlord Ok, that doesn’t mean the ride was unsafe. I know it got torn down but calling for the ride to come down based on emotion isn’t rational.
I can remember like last yr a 14 yr old boy felt to his death cus he was strapped in correctly and he also had the harness come down over the shoulders but that didnt save him and it was the fact that he was overweight and should have never been allowed to ride the ride it was called the free fall buts its no longer now after the accident the ride was dismantled and done away with it was so sad it was all over the news

"The ride also was NOWHERE near safe in the first place."
Except it was. Tyre fell out because his seat had been adjusted to allow obese people to ride. Had that not happened, the ride computer wouldn't have cleared his restraint as "locked" and he would've been told to get off.
"the ride only had PLASTIC push into place harnesses to keep you safe."
This doesn't mean anything. It's not like the harness broke.
"and the harness probably slid up, causing him to fall."
No, the harness was always locked. It just wasn't tight enough. He slid under it. Restraints can't just pop open for no reason.
"Also, a woman riding was worried about the safety of her and the riders and said something like: "there isn't any belts or anything else to keep us safe?!" And the operator said something like: "there ain't no seatbelts.""
This also doesn't mean anything.
I can't wait for this to be tore down!
How come?
@@triple7marc A kid fell to his death on the ride back in march 2022. The public and his parents wanted the ride torn down
@@TheSleepyWarlord Ok, that doesn’t mean the ride was unsafe. I know it got torn down but calling for the ride to come down based on emotion isn’t rational.
Good luck getting me on this 😂
I can remember like last yr a 14 yr old boy felt to his death cus he was strapped in correctly and he also had the harness come down over the shoulders but that didnt save him and it was the fact that he was overweight and should have never been allowed to ride the ride it was called the free fall buts its no longer now after the accident the ride was dismantled and done away with it was so sad it was all over the news
What's the update on this ride is it still open or did it close?
Still closed. Unsure if it will ever reopen. I'm glad I got to ride it in January.
It unfortunately got torn down
