You can put that bag in an airtight container with baking soda & it will absorb the odor. Or anything that has odors. Always enjoy your videos ❤
Very awesome pattern on that rug!! For the right person the stains won't matter; you can always arrange furniture to hide the discoloration. I hope the profit will be worth all the effort!

Have you ever seen those rug cleaning youtube videos? They are so satisfying to watch. Just when you think its clean, they go for another pass and more crap comes out. This just reminded me of that. Lol. Hope you guys find a buyer! Real boss found some great bags!

Glad you can still shop at Goodwill, the lowest price on anything (and I mean anything! even a single sheet of stickers) at our Goodwill is $1.89. You can still find things to flip but it just isn't like it used to be.
Forgot to tell you that my rug hangs on the wall it is like a beautiful piece of art and everybody that says it loves it
Wash hats in the dishwasher they come out clean because there stable and don't move top and bottom just saying

Coke is a pretty good degreaser. It takes out all sorts of stains. If it cleans tools, it can clean a hst. But, the question is: Is the hat worth the cost of a bottle of Coke?
My neighbors clean their 100% rugs with Woolite & the blue Dawn, use a floor scrubber & they are perfect!!
OdoBan will work on the smells. SAMS Club sells the concentrate

Charcoal packs work nicely on odors, as does freezing.
The rug is beautiful! Great colors. I bought a new 8x10 polyester rug and paid $1,100! I wanted a better quality wool rug but couldn’t find one for less than $3,000! Hope it is a success!

I always check Home Goods stores for rugs. It's hit or miss but prices can be reasonable for decent wool rugs.

Try renting one of those carpet cleaning machine. That are like $30 to . Can't tell how bad the stains are, but those machines work fairly well.
There are plenty of UA-cam creators that make ASMR rug cleaning videos. Maybe see about a colab and get it done on a video!

Put some charcoal briquets in side it will get that smell out the Bass bag.

For odors such as smoke & musty smells, charcoal packs work wonders!
absorbent cat litter is supposed to work on smoke/odours
I shampoo rugs on my driveway with woolite and a powerwasher and tgey come out just as good as getting them done at the pkace that charges $100 for a rug that size. Easy local flip even if it only goes for 500. Great score!!!!
If you can get Neutradol balls they are great for removing odours including musty book smells.

We actually clean our hand tufted wool rug with a home use carpet cleaner using a biodegradable carpet soap made for rug machines. While I wouldn't suggest anyone else try this at home with their priceless area rug, I totally would have thrown the $15 rug on the driveway on a hot, dry day, and given it a go myself...nothing to lose but $15, a few hours work and some wool wash. (The rubber backing is likely more at risk than the wool itself.) I'm rooting for you two to make at least $500 profit on this gamble.

I went to Saver’s which is a regional thrift store. I was looking for dinosaurs for my grandson. Their prices were terrible for many things. I did find reasonably priced dinosaurs. My grandson didn’t care about the other stuff. 😉
