Nice two axe head day. To remove rust, I find a mix of molasses and water works great. 9-1 water to molasses. Cheap and safe

Any tips on how I can go about finding old sites in my area I have been doin research on a website the local court house directed me to as well as trying to find some old property owners map at the courthouse as well. Did you ever detect the confederate artillery emplacement that shelled Carlisle during the Civil War? It's a nice open farm field and across the street to the east up on a lil rise was a colonial log cabin, it was still there when my cousins live where the built the mall. the lil hill is still unbuilt on.
No we haven't but sounds like a great spot.

People who buy the canning jar inserts are buying them to put it in the zinc lids.... like the one you have. I'm puzzled why you wouldn't just sell them the whole thing.
