though I had some problem with sea water It also ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn
Congratulations Cleggy... cant think of anyone more deserving.. God only knows how many people you've inspired to pick up a coil, and the hours and miles covered by yourself, dedication = rewards Well done
Wow, one after another, they just kept coming out of the ground! Awesome day, congratulations Cleggy! Can you tells us about he history of the coin. The ship design is very interesting. The bow is indicative of ancient reed boats. Who straightened the gold coin and what was the process? It would be nice to watch that being worked on. Tks! GL👨🦯HH
Congrats on some great finds there mate. Can you settle a discussion for me? Do you ever get to keep any coins you have to declare? For example the Noble. Just interested to know if a museum buys it from you do you get a fair price? Cheers John
Coin at 2 minutes: Scottish Robert II (1371-1390) silver groat. The stars on the back indicates that it's from Scotland, as does the face looking to the left. Their kings faces on coinage alternated left and right to differenciate from English coins, which had head on portraits.
