This may be controversial, but I keep these in one of my rectangular 5 gallon tanks, and they do great. I have a group of 9 of them in that tank, the tank is well established and fully planted, and they have done great for the 18 months they’ve been in there. Once established, their orange color pops nicely against a dark background and green plants.
I just got a small school of harlequin Rasboras- and I love them! they are all over the place and eat like they never ate before - they're so funny ! :D ^^
Getting to it late Professor, started therapy today. Dropped something off at my LFS today on way home. Grew a pumpkin with store name in it. Hopefully they will post something and I’ll share it with you. Forgot to take a picture.
in Vietnam 🇻🇳 they're one of the primary feeder fish, a long side gold fish, snakehead fry and ghost shrimp. You would literally get hundreds of these guys for 1$
Thanks for video Jason. I have an ich outbreak early stages in american cichlid tank. Early signs of scratching around gill area and powdery look on fins. Don't want to use meds any advice? Found out increasingly temp to 86°f, aquarium salt and garlic will do. What do you think? Thanks
My "to go" solution in case of fungal or bacterial infections is to increase the frequency of water changes, about 50% each 3 days, till the problem go away. If I was able to treat pop eye like this, should work with your fungal infections.
Have you noticed these guys picking on Mystery Snails at all? We wanted to add some community fish to our 10 gallon tank with our large Mystery Snail so we tried a Honey Gourami and a group of 8 Ember Tetras. The Honey seems fine but the Ember Tetras immediately started picking at the snail's feelers so we took them out. We are very attached to our little water goat and don't want anything that will pick on him. Do these guys seem to do okay in that kind of tank?
What plants you recommend for 20 long without co2 i have NICREW light that you showed in one of your videos. Just gravel and root tabs and easy green. What plants are in this tank?
definitely interested, do you think you could keep the Exclamation Point Rasbora with cherry shrimp (you did mention no issues so far with those), rabbit snails?? I've got a thriving RCS-rabbit snail invert tank but it really needs some fish!
seems like flip aquatics only cares about the influencers. I have been in contact with Rob about a fish dying in my order and he has been putting me off for over a week with no resolution. Just keep saying I will check tomorrow and then not getting back to me until I email them. He clearly needs more staff. For now, I do not recommend at all.

Loving the blue shrimp at the 1:47 mark. That was a nice touch. He definitely showed out for ya!! 👍 👍
Very nice, love the idea of having a tank of theses with Green Neons.

1 got my first school of Harlequin Rasbora; agreed I love them too!
Harlequin rasboras are the very best rasboras. 🧡🖤🤍
Hello from the Uk. Just wanted to say I like the passion you both have and insight. Hopefully I’ll catch one of your live streams live
Thank you!
Agree!!
Awesome video Jason! I’ll definitely try them out sometime. 👍
When I have room for a bigger tank, I'm going to be putting nano fish like these in my small tank. I'm really excited for it!
Me too! I’ll be trying them out sometime. 😊 What fish do you currently keep?
@@Aquafinity I have three Bolivian Rams, two Emerald Corys and two Mystery Snails. What do you have?
@@amymandeville8342 That's very cool! I keep many nano fish, ranging from corys, to tetras, to endlers. I also have an aquarium channel! :)
@@Aquafinity that's awesome!
@@amymandeville8342 thanks! Happy fishkeeping!! 😊
Very cute fish! I also noticed some emerald green rasboras in there, aka the prettiest fish I rarely see lol
Ya! I like them too!

I saw - that's cool :-)
Great video! Another fish to add to my list. Happy swimming! 🐟🐠🐟🐠🐟🐠
Woohoo!
awesome little fish 😍👌👍
I see your tank contains also Emerald Dwarf Rasbora. Fine to know these 2 rasboras can live in one tank.
Fantastic! I love them already!
They're interesting little fish :-)

They are cute 🐠
They are! Do you keep them? 😃
Mine seem to prefer fluval bug bites more than baby brine shrimp though I do find them both often 2/3 times a day depending on work days
Can you do a video on which substrate to use when you want to plant* ( I got the spelling wrong the first time😅) live aquatic plants?
Thanks for video Jason. I have an ich outbreak early stages in american cichlid tank. Early signs of scratching around gill area and powdery look on fins. Don't want to use meds any advice?
Found out increasingly temp to 86°f, aquarium salt and garlic will do. What do you think? Thanks
It can help, but I haven't had much luck treating it without meds.
@@PrimeTimeAquatics thanks Jason
I have some and find that they are prone to fungal infections. Not sure what is off about my setup. But other than that they are an awesome fish
Sorry that happened. :-(

Can I have them with shrimps ? Neocaradinas in particular.... will they feed on the shrimplets?
Sure!
Looks like you've got CPDs and emerald dwarf rasboras together.
Any concerns about hybridization?
No, my guess is fry won't survive in that tank.

I haven't noticed them pay any attention to snails.

This tank has mostly anubias, crypts and a little hornwort, which would all work well in your set-up too. Java fern and java moss may also work.
definitely interested, do you think you could keep the Exclamation Point Rasbora with cherry shrimp (you did mention no issues so far with those), rabbit snails?? I've got a thriving RCS-rabbit snail invert tank but it really needs some fish!
Yep - that combo is still working for us.
@@PrimeTimeAquatics thank you!!
HAPPY FRY DAY !
Love tiny rasboras
Good Morning.
Good morning!
Got my Rasbora with a honey gurami. No problems
Hi Jason
What was the two centerpiece plants?
I also want to know what the broad leafed center piece plane is.
Mostly anubias that grew tall :-)
! They feed on my Cherry shrimp with utmost pleasure
Crazy!
@@PrimeTimeAquatics Yes, no more shrimp progeny since I bought 12 exclamation Rasbora !
What are those little blue fish? Are those blue dream shrimp?
Yep! :-)

They are very busy. I'm sure he will make it right - they always do.
what a tiny fish
