Something we didn't mention, you should REALLY utilize that 4pm entrance time you can get into the park to ride some rides and do any NON-party exclusive things you want to do. That'll help you get quite a bit more done!
This does look like fun ... i think it's better with the crowds down, for sure. I thought the parade was cute although the characters at the end felt super random, like they just went through the mascot closet like 'are there any left in here that might be vaguely appropriate'... not really cohesive. Did like the HM float though.
It was an awesome time! I definitely hear you on the villains there towards the end, they kind of just threw them all in there without a float or something to supplement. I assume they can't give EVERYONE a float or the parade would be like 50 minutes lol, so maybe that's why? The haunted mansion stuff in general has been super cool to see increase for the events and just merch and such in the parks.
Do you say "Let's Boo this."? - too funny if you did. What time did you arrive at the front gate? I usually am in the park already, usually Tomorrowland. It seemed to be a bit better coming in from the front tho. No costume this time? As much as I love Cosmic Rays - that is one place that needs a serious update! The hitchhiking ghost looked AWESOME - they looked so much like the ones in the ride! Have you ever ridden Space Mountain with the lights on? It's actually pretty scary when you see how close the tracks are in some areas. It's a shame they no longer have the technology showcase on the way out of SM like they did in the past. It was amazing to view what they thought the future would look like and the new tech that was coming. I don't really do meet-and-greets, but my plan is to do Jack and Sally and Mirabel and Bruno. I've heard Jack and Sally have a ridiculously long wait time. Excellent preview of what to expect. Thanks and be well.
Yes of course! I feel like that's the iconic phrase haha. We got there maybe 20-30 minutes before the party started. Nicole was busy with work and we didn't have the ability to get up there sooner, unfortunately. No costumes this year, at least not yet lol. I didn't want to burn out the Caveman fit lol. I have another great outfit, but I have to put it together, a bit more complex than Caveman, but not TOO bad. Plus I need Nicole to commit with me on that one, so we'll see LOL. Cosmic Rays is nice, but it could REALLY use a touch up to modernism lol. It feels like it's falling behind. Was still shocked it was so empty that early. The Hitchhiking ghosts were AWESOME, I've never seen them before and they looked identical. I was shocked. I don't think I ever have, or not since we've moved down. I may have when I was a kid lol. I've seen it a few times on the people mover funny enough. We don't either, but Mirabel and Bruno were actually awesome. They were fun, had good convos and it was just a nice time actually. I'm actually not certain on the taxi service situation. I know uber and lyft are definitely easy to do. They also have the "minnie van" service which is a lot of fun, but slightly more expensive.

Did they have plenty of taxis to take people back? I will be staying off Disney property.
