Rowlett Creek Preserve Day Hike

A morning hike with Brody at Rowlett Creek Preserve in Garland, Texas. This park has 16 miles of mountain bike and hiking trails maintained by DORBA(www.dorba.org). Trails consist of stacked loops so you can easily but together a ride or hike depending no how far you want to go. Lots of trails traverse dense forest with heavy shade in most parts, with some sections that parallel Rowlett Creek.

Its a pretty big park with stacked loop trails so you can easily adjust how far you want to ride/hike, and the trails are in good condition, but can be slightly muddy after recent rains. I prefer Erwin Park in McKinney as I think its bigger and its in the middle of nowhere so plenty of peace and quiet.
