Perspective is so funny. My mother always said this show depressed her. She didn’t like the fact that they never made it out and James never seemed to get ahead. I’ve always and will always love it!
I believe the audience clapped every time right before a commercial break or a transition scene. I don’t think they were clapping because they were in jail.
Michael the smartest one out of The Evans children got himself in some trouble from being suspended from school to getting caught up in the wrong crowd by getting into a friend's car without having a license
The suspension from school about the remark of George Washington the IQ test busing problem the fight with Bobby joining the street gang to the atheist problem working for Carl Dixon
Only actors worthy of mention in this show are John Amos, Esther Rolle and Jimmie Walker, all the others are not I’m only forgettable but never did much if anything after the show ended
I love!! the Black Jesus episode.
Yeah Hollywood knows the truth 3:08 / 3:17
My favorite show from the great 70s . It really pulled me up when i was depressed.

My fave ones are when Micheal sings and the one when he gets suspended.
JJ: Chello? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Happy birthday to actor Ralph Carter
0:29 Not the audiences clapping that both Michael & Penny are in jail tho!

I never understood that

Michael acting like J.J. with the CB radio
The comment about being whoever you want to be over the CB is prescient, considering the same is the case with the internet.
Michael always believed in protests the law and police brutality also black culture
Hair like wool & feet like brass.
The suspension from school about the remark of George Washington the IQ test busing problem the fight with Bobby joining the street gang to the atheist problem working for Carl Dixon
James Evans we really needed you if Michael continued to act like a spoiled little boy the belt would do the talking
Florida was completely heartbroken was when Michael joined the gang called The Junior Warlords but James was here he wouldn't have any of it
Michael grew up from the age of 11 when the show debuted February 8 1974 up until the age of 18 when the show ended August 1 1979
Florida was lost.
Florida was so messed up.

The black Jesus is the funniest. I only ascribe to a clear one, that way everyone gets a chance. Religion is just stories anyways.😁😅
I'm sorry to tell you, but the Yehuwdym(Jews) are black.
