I’d never go back after owning 2
@@tubejorrit I have heard good things about those models, but I want it across the board. The other thing is, a long warranty is good, but in the end your bike is still out of service, you just don't pay for it in money, but in lost riding days.
@@svracing3 I track an SV also (I am assuming you do) and that is my standard of reliability, which is pretty high 🙂
With the factories current woes, I'm not convinced they would last as long as the warranty ???
Am I the only one who was excited to see this bike. The class has been stale for a while. Nothing new. Now we have an R9 and a 990 coming. Truth be told it's weird but it's new. I don't see sport bikes leaving but we'll definitely see a new breed of them. Personally I like the idea of a parallel twin going up against V2's, 600's and Triples.
R9 is on the way 🤔
It's already leaking in the b-roll footage lol.
Wowsers
If that is the price I think they have out priced them selves no-matter how good the bike is with the others in the segment being around £10k (RS660) then the Ducati being £17K (v2 pan). As much as I do like KTM and am looking forward to this I cant see it being a big seller when competing with the others.
R9 coming
Let’s go!!
i think this bike might be a huge miss for ktm when everyone is expecting a full on racer like the kramer... but its not. Sounds like its a superdude with clipons.
😈 Yes yes... 😇
Did the prototype have to be recovered like the production models do?😄😄
Fuck me did Jason Statham get even more handsome?
Nah, he just put on a bit of weight. 😉
R9 is also coming right! Anyone any News about it?
how many engine replacements did you need for the test ride :D?
I took some extra Dairy Milks, etc
Has it been confirmed that KTM will be making a proper track only version yet, if so hopefully it'll be a bit more special than this sounds. Any hints Al?
Yes there's gonna be a KTM RC990R Track version.
From the photos released so far, the track version seems to have whole set of different fairings (without holes for street parts, different rearsets, different front forks and front brake calipers, a new top yoke, steering damper and dash, taller wind screen, an aftermarket exhaust, and a bunch of protective parts (lever guards, fairing sliders etc)
I reckon it’ll be quite a bit more expensive than the street version based on the front end, exhaust and carbon parts.
Were the cams the problem OR was it oil starvation ?
I want the black and white camouflage one
When you crack the throttle it just sounds slow as f**k!
Looks fun if you have money to spend. Not an "i can afford one bike" bike. Ill get a " fill in any supersport or tuono"
Well that sounds like an absolute lawnmower… what a hot mess
Its a KTM,be afraid be very afraid.
So basically like the R9
So, it's going to be very much like the real thing, check engine light appears on dash 🤷
wow 16k is a bit spicy....
