My buddy invited me to hunt a huge farm with stands up everywhere, too bad they are all at. least. 200 yards way from any walking trail and we've had no rain for weeks so I did the Squirrel walk and deer walk the other day and I got within 40 yards of a Doe feeding. I was coming up a ATV trail in the wide open and what spoked her was when I kneeled down to take a shot my backpack shifted and I kind of fell to the side making not any woodland animal sound, just a thud lol.

Hey odd question but I'm doing some animation studies on a hunter walking through a forest, would you or anyone that sees this comment, happen to know of any sources showing practical hunting techniques like this one but looking at it from 3rd person perspective?
I know this is from left field, but Deliverance has a scene where one of the hillbillies is out hunting, and that's pretty much it! That, and Elmer Fudd (a little exaggerated, but same idea)

yeah buddy!!
Thanks for the “deer step” tip. That will give me more confidence when I'm making a ton of noise making my way to my stands. 👍
Go git 'em!
Man, that was so cool! All three are very good ideas! I will be using them ... thank you, charlie m.
Thanks Charlie, good luck out there!
Thanks for posting!
You bet!
Don't forget the "fox" step!
Please do share!
