Welcome to the premier lake lifestyle media group.
Our mission is to share the joy of lake life.
We accomplish this by providing timely, useful and accurate information for lake visitors, as well as by supporting lake communities through commerce.
The LakeHub Network:
We own and operate a network of hyperlocal sites for some of the most popular lakes the south including LakeTexoma.com, GrandLake.com and CedarCreekLake.com. Each site has local contributors providing news, events, weather, lake levels, real estate, vacation rentals, marinas, campgrounds, fishing guides and restaurants.
The Intersection of Hyperlocal and Travel.
Due to the remote nature of recreational lakes most of our site visits originate from outside the local lake area. Many are checking the sites for upcoming events, weather and lake levels as they plan their weekend visit or vacation. Reaching these visitors as they are planning their trips can be very valuable to local businesses.

I was so on board with everything you said u til you said Nikon had good optics
good *affordable* optics - to each their own!
I shot my first archery deer in November and wasn't sitting against a tree. I was sitting on a downed log with another one in front of it. And still had 2 doe walk in front of me
congrats!! love it
Why was the lake built? 🤔
We use a bike rack made for the front (A frame) of our trailer. A MUCH better place to carry bikes. Rear bumpers are not made to support that much weight and the G forces on the back of a bouncing trailer are SEVERE. The best line of your video was, "It worked.... until it didn't." Failure of the rear rack carrying bikes is imminent. I see so many people saying, "We do it and haven't had any problems." Right. It works until it doesn't. Metal fatigue is cummulative and may take time. Good video.
Thanks! Great idea and much better weight distribution
be vewy vewy quiet.
Life imitates art! haha
What type of structure or underwater terrain is he looking for when finding hybrids? Flats, or humps, or deepest part of lake? Ledges?
Humps, ledges, slopes, any drastic difference

That Lake was awesome back in the 1980s. The lake Cypress Marina was awesome. It had cabins tent camping, a good restaurant and bait shop. There was a cove with a giant water slide, diving boards and rope swings. They had a indoor heated dock that was loaded with crappie. You could go in there and catch a limit of crappie in less than an hour. Slab bluegill too. Sadly the Lake Cypress marina is gone and there are private homes where it once was. Rich people from Dallas have ruined Lake Cypress.
It's a shame the marina is gone, but glad you got to enjoy it back in the day!
I went to onxmaps and tried to learn about their services and prices. Long story short, I could not figure out the options for their product and the different pricing for different services. Too bad! It might be something good, but how would I know. Their website is horrible!!!
A comment I found on Reddit about the orange camo and legality: “They do make camo pattern blaze orange. You have to be wearing a certain square footage of orange depending on the state. So if you want to just wear a a vest and a hat, you might not always meet the orange square footage law if it has a camo pattern in it.”
good point - always make sure you are legal
just bought one today perfect thank you.
Enjoy!!

Great tips. I almost exclusively hunt from the ground without a blind. Personally I would much rather have shrubs or cover in front of me as opposed to behind me. When it’s behind me, it seems like it’s easy to accidentally bump into a branch or a leaf when I’m drawing. When I have cover in front of me, I have more elbow room the draw my bow. Good luck this season!
Great point!
I bought a brand new Jaco Jay flight. Wher I like to travel. A pop up is way nicer. Yes a little more work but I don't need a 1 ton truck to tow it. I use mine for emergency communications and pota activations.
Love it!
Hello please can you let me know I I’ve been blessed with the same kind of camper and papa I like to know do they have people to come out and help me pop it up and fix it yes or no
There are mobile RV techs for repairs, but not typically for setting up
Great information and very well explained! Thank you!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks good info.
Thanks!
There are so many certifications and regulations that it turns me off from applying, and the fee as well.
My brand new crossfire 2 sucks glass sucks. I have a pursuit for $55 bucks from cabelas thats much more clear. My 10year Nikon buckmaster is also much clear. It m returning my new crossfire.
bummer! they have a good warranty, maybe you got a lemon
@ I think it’s good, just not the quality I was hoping for
do you have to pay ahead of time, or do you only pay if your selected?
you pay a small fee to put in (like $3) and then a lot of hunts have a fee if you win (like $80)
@@LakeHubTV thanks, i have wanted to try this for many years but didn't feel comfortable not knowing the process. so the $3.00 is like a holding fee to be in, if your selected then there may be an additional cost correct?
Too much narrative unrelated to the problem.
😂 💀
My buddy invited me to hunt a huge farm with stands up everywhere, too bad they are all at. least. 200 yards way from any walking trail and we've had no rain for weeks so I did the Squirrel walk and deer walk the other day and I got within 40 yards of a Doe feeding. I was coming up a ATV trail in the wide open and what spoked her was when I kneeled down to take a shot my backpack shifted and I kind of fell to the side making not any woodland animal sound, just a thud lol.
yeah buddy!!
Bla bla bla didn't show anything about the process.
put 🐟in 💧
Freestanding are sniping. On the ground is real hunting
Amen!
Are the lines 100% accurate on the app also I've noticed the property owners' names are not up to date? if there accurate on the lines my next-door neighbor has the porch on my property, and I don't feel this is correct?
Do not trust it for any legal disputes, best to get a survey done!
Fucking hilarious 😂
😎
Nikon doesn't make scopes anymore and haven't for a few years. If they still did I would buy the nikon.
I like Nikon, Vortex is a great alternative

That is hilarious!!
I lived up there for a long time and moved in 2002 I know we went out on the lake almost every day boating in the 90s all the way up. Till 2002
Love it
I had a house up there overlooking Mulligan's cove. Beautiful❤
❤️❤️❤️
I like the last tip the most. Thank you
Glad to help!’
Does it show hunting unit boundaries?
It shows public land boundaries, not necessarily whether it is legal hunting
Looking to buy a used pop up, thanks so much for your video. Based on your experience with the roofs, what is a good solid brand you feel has the best roof construction? Since buying a new one is there a year you try and stay after? Like looking at 2006 right now would it make you nervous based on the age? Thanks again.
I have been happy with anything Forest River makes (several brands) and stay away from Coleman plastic roofs. The entire RV industry started cheaping out on materials after 2009, so that is a before/after moment but we are so far from that now that its probably better to just go newer. 2-5 years old is kind of a sweet spot in good shape for the money, and warranty repairs already done

I’m a retired (RN) senior searching for a pup…very little knowledge of them. Been looking on FB marketplace, joined a few respective groups to pups. Found a link to this vid in a FB group (Gently Used Pop-up Campers for Sale). I’ve picked up minute pieces of info along the way until the link to your vid. Watched and feel I’ve gained much education and confidence going forward. I definitely hit the “👍” and subscribed. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and experience.
Awesome! Glad to help!!
I live by lake Michigan and Jet Ski on it all the time in Milwaukee to Chicago. I’ve been on Kentucky lake and it was awesome.
Nice!
We have a 2007 Forest River Class C motorhome that we bought in 2016 and the RV "house" side has been very reliable but not 100% on the Ford chassis' side but those challenges were/are addressable and fixable. Being a DIY'er, and with lot's of support and 'How to' knowledge threads and videos, in time most everything Ford related was up and running. My something's not right with the electrical system came when no lights would come on inside the MH the night of the day I had been working on the MH during daylight here at home. Historically when I had the MH hooked into home shore power, and had the battery switch turned off, the lights had always illuminated. Only difference this time was that I intentionally had left the batteries disconnected. So its night and I go to MH, on shore power, the battery switch turned off, and no light when light switch is flipped on. None of the lights (12V as they all are on this vehicle) come on for the 1st time ever when hooked to shore power alone. In time I finally get to learn so much more about RVs and their electric systems. Knowledge I always wished I had but not learnable until I had this fundamental "lab assignment" presented to me. When I hooked up the battery cables. and still on shore power, and had battery disconnect set to 'Off', still no lights! Let's try turning battery disconnect to 'On': I have lights! Disconnect shore power: still have lights. Lets disconnect the negative wire at the battery: no lights. I knew the shore power was coming into the MH as I still had running 120V floor fans plugged into 120V receptacles. The problem: The converter was no longer converting 120V to 12V for its 2 uses: 1) Power the 12V house systems with 12V, and, 2) charge the batteries. When did the converter go? I have no idea as the solar panels on the MH's roof had been recharging the batteries on their own, an easy task in the Arizona sun. I have the new converter (they are pricey nowadays) awaiting to be installed. At over 100*, the converter can wait.
I have another video after converter install, thats what it was for me! -Simon
