Alan Jackson used to throw concerts. He had to because he cut trees on the corps of engineers and he was forced to get free concerts and everybody was floating up I'm tired tubes and floats boats it was loaded when Alan had to do three years of concerts.

I lived up there for a long time and moved in 2002 I know we went out on the lake almost every day boating in the 90s all the way up. Till 2002

Since buying a new one is there a year you try and stay after? Like looking at 2006 right now would it make you nervous based on the age? Thanks again.

I’m a retired (RN) senior searching for a pup…very little knowledge of them. Been looking on FB marketplace, joined a few respective groups to pups. Found a link to this vid in a FB group (Gently Used Pop-up Campers for Sale). I’ve picked up minute pieces of info along the way until the link to your vid. Watched and feel I’ve gained much education and confidence going forward. I definitely hit the “👍” and subscribed. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and experience.

I live by lake Michigan and Jet Ski on it all the time in Milwaukee to Chicago. I’ve been on Kentucky lake and it was awesome.

We have a 2007 Forest River Class C motorhome that we bought in 2016 and the RV "house" side has been very reliable but not 100% on the Ford chassis' side but those challenges were/are addressable and fixable. Being a DIY'er, and with lot's of support and 'How to' knowledge threads and videos, in time most everything Ford related was up and running. My something's not right with the electrical system came when no lights would come on inside the MH the night of the day I had been working on the MH during daylight here at home. Historically when I had the MH hooked into home shore power, and had the battery switch turned off, the lights had always illuminated. Only difference this time was that I intentionally had left the batteries disconnected. So its night and I go to MH, on shore power, the battery switch turned off, and no light when light switch is flipped on. None of the lights (12V as they all are on this vehicle) come on for the 1st time ever when hooked to shore power alone. In time I finally get to learn so much more about RVs and their electric systems. Knowledge I always wished I had but not learnable until I had this fundamental "lab assignment" presented to me. When I hooked up the battery cables. and still on shore power, and had battery disconnect set to 'Off', still no lights! Let's try turning battery disconnect to 'On': I have lights! Disconnect shore power: still have lights. Lets disconnect the negative wire at the battery: no lights. I knew the shore power was coming into the MH as I still had running 120V floor fans plugged into 120V receptacles. The problem: The converter was no longer converting 120V to 12V for its 2 uses: 1) Power the 12V house systems with 12V, and, 2) charge the batteries. When did the converter go? I have no idea as the solar panels on the MH's roof had been recharging the batteries on their own, an easy task in the Arizona sun. I have the new converter (they are pricey nowadays) awaiting to be installed. At over 100*, the converter can wait.

There is just to much work setting up a Pop-Up camper. This is why I changed my mind on getting one, just saying.

Not for nothing I've been camping my whole life!! And I agree with almost everything you said except for the thing about the fridge. I don't know what is wrong with yours but all the ones I've had worked great!! Small, yes but they kept everything cold, Hell we've even used the small little freezer section to make Ice for mixed drinks so we don't have to use the dirty water ice from the coolers. You might want to have that fridge checked or try turning the settings colder if it has any or just replace it with a new one if it doesn't get cold.

I have a back flip bed cover. I fold it up and lock in place. Then I have a tail gate pad on my tailgate and I put two bikes in the bed of the truck. The pop up has a Yakima bike rack on the roof where the other two bikes go. Once I’m at the campsite all the bikes get locked up on the ground and I can close my bed cover for safe storage.

Been paying for on x premium for 3 years now. It’s well worth it if you spend any kind of time out in remote areas! Also great for jeep stuff, finding mines, cool camping spots, blackberrys, sheds, the list goes on!

My dryer has an "air" setting that could probably work well on small tents and gear. Could you also raise the roof of the trailer just to get /some/ airflow going in there?

I just agreed to buy my first popup yesterday, picking it up Wednesday. My buddy has a lot of experience with his gf's popup and wants to show me the ropes but I found this helpful so I'll feel like less of a doofus when that time comes. Thanks.

My pop up doesn’t have those extra reinforcement covers you attached to keep roof from collapsing? Where do I find those?

As someone who does a lot of fishing year round both salt and fresh. I find the serrations very helpful for cutting line. Especially if you need to quickly cut braided line

What boats are allowed on the lake? Can you waterski on a ski boat? Are jetskis allowed?

I would like to recommend a few things . First off is a shirt a with a front pocket ( or even two ) , this is invaluable when working in a situation like this where you need to temporarily place items such as that string level and or some glasses . Another is a pair of fingerless leather gloves or even tactical gloves . These will help minor skin abrasions and the palms of your hands won’t get raw or irritated especially while cranking. I also like to do the proverbial “ new year , new me “ workout process after the holidays and build up my cardio for the upcoming summer . Nothing crazy , just 3 or 4 times a week to keep from getting winded too easily. I was a bit disappointed at the end of this video because to me , you left out the “ big moment “ . . . What does the INSIDE look like ! .?? lol But a very informative video with some nice tips for sure . Thanks 🙏

In 2003 I used to own 24 Acres on Lake O the Pines it's a nice fishing place the campgrounds are beautiful the people were very friendly there. Just be careful when you're hiking there are rattlesnakes and water moccasins

Have you fished lake Cleburne??? I do Joe Pool a lot on the state park side and lynn creek side. Lake Grapevine has small mouth, and I need to go there. I mostly fish largemouth bass though
