It's very sad when High does not run "Much" better than Ultra. As with a lot of current generation of games, there is almost no scaling in them. So you either have the hardware to run them or not. So if I were to buy a 4070TI Super. Everything would run at Ultra 1440p, with DLSS or not depending on the game. Till the day that I would have to just go to Medium or below. But yea for his kind of game, I would just stick to ultra with DLSS Q. It's not like you need a perfect 60 to play it well. The original ran much worse on the PS4 and the PRO. And that was at 1080p. Great work as always!. Can't wait for your coverage of SpongeBob SquarePants The Patrick Star Game.
@@S2GamesBench The new leak on the 5070 from Moore's Law Is Dead channel, is so bad. Like holy hell. The standard 5070 will have 12GB, that's basically confirmed, and apparently it's on the same raster level as a standard 4070Ti. He mentions it being maybe 5% stronger in raster, but up to 20% better if used with RT. So it lines up with the last leaks, that the new 5070 will not be stronger than the current 4070Ti Super. Just very close to it. You are just gonna pay 599$-699$ for it, instead of 799$. The 10-15% improvement to RT performance at this price point/GPU tier means nothing. It would still not allow you to use full RT on a 600$ GPU, meaning that the technology is still far beyond a normal user. Overall they really want to stagnate the middle/upper middle range GPU cards again. Where you will see almost no upgrade in performance, in that price segment. At least no in pure raster. And as we saw with the 4060/4060Ti, you need pure raster to have a faster GPU. FG alone will not do you any good, if you can't be locked at 60 fps minimum. Black Myth Wukong is a prime example of this shitty technology. Where they went and made a 60 fps mode on PS5, that runs at 30 fps and adds FG to reach 60. It resulted with one of the worst input latency in a modern game, and a VERY bad image quality to boot. I'm amazed that more ppl are not talking about this shit. The publisher straight out lied to it's customers about the 60 fps mode. There is no 60 fps mode in the console release. And now we have Crapcom trying the same thing with the PC version of MHW. Lying to you about getting 60 fps with FG on. Then you have the army of stupid ppl, that believe this shit. They believe that FG is actual performance gains. And I mean sure, if you are 80 year old and can't feel the insane input latency increase. Then yea, I can somewhat believe you. I mean the CPU market is also trash for gaming atm. With the 9000 series being single digits faster than the 7000 series, sometimes not even that. And the upcoming intel core, being not faster in gaming, just in productivity. While demanding less power. So same as AMD. Very sad times to be a gamer. At least a gamer like me, that does not have infinite pockets to buy a 90 class card.

Agreed, honestly it would have looked way better if they ported it using modern Decima, it's a ridiculously good engine just look at Death Stranding 2.

That frame time graph is disgraceful at times. It just turns to mush and then goes back to normal randomly

it could be like other UE5 games that use lumen even when "rt" is off, so rt on would just mean Hardware raytracing and not raytracing in general.

Why did they have to go from the Decima engine to UE5? Just to force in ray tracing? This Sony port feels like a miss.
