Labrie gets a lot of shit? For what? His vocals are otherworldly. He does a three-hour show and doesn't miss one note. He's probably one of the best pure singers ever in the genre -- maybe the best.
Labrie absolutely nailed this performance. Pitch perfect with power and control. I wasn’t in love with his tone when I first heard it many years ago but it’s grown on me and I cannot imagine anyone else singing his parts. Now I get kind of bothered a little when people complain about his vocals. Only two singers I think could pull off his parts and sound like they fit would be maybe Devin Townsend or Mike Patton. Both have high and low range for days, great timbre, and the ability to fry scream better than just about anyone
I asked Portnoy about this, at a clinic, in the 90's. He said, we don't need to work out or do anything special for our diet. We have been practicing for 7 years, every day. ( before they ever toured ) I was not into some of their music, but from the first show, Images and words, It was their skills that blew my mind, and the music came second. Their skills and poise sold me on the first day, and I have not missed a tour, yet. I could not believe what I was watching and hearing. They flew under the radar for a long time, and finally the whole world can see their mastery.

Seguramente les gusta el regueton y la bachata
What I like about DT is every members are so calm yet play skillfully without excessive energy.
16:31 haha for like 10 sec they were just messing around

Estaría bien el disco completo de Octavarium, es una historia completa, completar el circulo como dice en la canción, gracias por la traducción, gran trabajo, saludos.
This song is like experiencing the 5th dimension.
The thumbnail is just amazing, totally the opposite of the song but still amazing
I was in a bad place when I bought a. Pirated copy of this show.. when they started playing this... It mesmerized me... it helped me through my depression and never fails to do so.. this isn't just a song.. it's an experience, an uplifting experience. Thank you DT for this.

Just realize that Jordan Rudess shredded on a piano.

hahahaha
You talking to me about dt?
I've been listening to dt since the 90's.
I think I could give an opinion with much more foundation than you, and when someone does not contribute, it should be said.
Passion is not studied.
Assuming you're old since you said you've been listening since the 90's. Please read your comment very slowly many times. By then you should realize how hypocrite you are.
Either a liar or just plain hater. Pathetic
@@locococopocoqoco8555 you don't know anything, how sad...

13:55 Best Portnoy's drum solo ever.
I miss John Myung’s Yamaha. The tone was light years better than when he switched to the MM Bongo.
3:56 when you know you nailed it!
Paz a mi mundo. Saquenlo del poder mientras puedan 🌍🙏
