Dunga dress was the dress you made xx I didn’t answer straight away in the hope that I had a better chance of winning! lol Almost forgot to answer though!! 😝 Looking forward to the quiz tonight at 8pm GMT
Thanks for showing how to use the feet. Jaguar gave the same with its 489 but they’ve never seen the daylight. Only brought them out today and noticed instruction leaflets were enclosed. Thanks to you!
Haha I watched this video first but just watched your others to see what the question for the giveaway was and the answer is the Dunga dress was what you made from the Jennifer tailor book! Looks a great book! Fingers crossed! Good luck everyone xxx
Again, as always, so informative! You have ignited my interest to practice these on different projects. You explain so clearly! Thank you for these videos
Wow this has opened my eyes to how under- utilised my overlocker is, I really need to try all these different feet and do something other than overlocking! You made the Dunga dress from Jennifer Taylor's book 😊
Your videos are so useful to me. Especially showing me how to use the extra feet I bought for my overlocker. Thank you so much. You made a Dunga dress for Jasmine. Good luck to all!
Hi Abi I think the dress that you made was the Dunga Dress. Love your videos I learn more about sewing and you help to improve my sewing skills especially when using an overlocker 💕❤️😊
You made the Dunga dress from Jennifer’s book , day 4 of advent, .love this video of the different feet, never knew that you could do so much with an overlocker.x
I just had a go with the hem foot. Now I know what its for. I've done hems exactly the same way with the normal foot not knowing what the real foot was for lol 😆 And the answer i think is the Dunga dress. Great video again Abi x
I have this exact machine! But don't have any additional feet and didn't realise you could do a zip with a piping foot, thanks for another great video! X
Very useful video. Caught it live this time. We get blinded sometimes with all the stuff we’re told in manuals. Personally it doesn’t stick until it’s demonstrated. You made the Dunga Dress from the Jenniffer Taylor book.
Once again a fantastic, clear video. I hope you are going to hold some overlocking classes when this terrible pandemic is over, I would love to attend, I have an old Janome Mylock which is underused. Where can I get these overlocking feet? The answer is the Dunga dress from Jennifer Taylor's book.🎄😊🎄
I have this Overlocker, I have not yet experimented with feet, too busy making Xmas presents. But hopefully after Xmas I will get some Me time x By the way, the answer is You made The Dunga Dress from Jennifer's book. Xx
Great video I have this overlocker and looking for extra feet for it. Might try a couple of the ones you have shown us in this video. Answer to question is dunga dress. Xx
Great video again Abi, more things for me to try out on my overlocker, I'm new to this overlocker world. One thing I'd love to know is when do you use 3 or even 2 threads on an overlocker and what for. I've only ever used 4 thread and done basic overlocking. You explain everything so clearly I'm sure I could get even more out of my machine. BTW the dress was the dunga dress.
Hi abi, the answer to your question is dunga dress. I was hoping you could recommend a sewing machine, it will be primarily for quilting. I am considering a pfaff 630 quilt ambition. Thank you
Hello Abi. You are amazing and have helped me struggle through my early days of overlocking. I have a question, please. Do you know if the latest Overlocker accessories (which all have different model numbers) are compatible with the M343D? Having watched your video about the useful accessory feet, I have tried everywhere to buy any one of them with no success. I realize this machine is no longer current but I would have expected to find them available somewhere. Even the Brother UK site didn’t help. I would be very grateful if you get a chance to answer this. Pat
Hi Pat. All brother overlockers are the same and all feet are compatible with every model. So if you’re looking for feet you should be able to find them online. I bought generic feet at less than £5 from eBay but that was precovid time Good luck
I am a beginner on the D343M amd watching your fab vids. It only has the one foot, should it have come with the selection you are demonstrating with I.e gathering foot? Please
Really enjoyed the video I have lots of feet’s but to scared to use them . Didn’t know the answer so won’t put it here even thou everyone has wrote the answer I won’t cheat x
Hi there, I've been looking for this too. I contacted Necchi but they sent a link which was in Italian ( I believe),so useless. I tried Amazon and Singer, (all for Sh models or U models not the S14-78), and loads of other websites, but no joy. ABI, where did you get yours please and which model are they for?
I don't know why my machine stitches length norb is not turning.... I have tried turning it, but to no avail.... thanks for your video it real helpful...
If it’s a Brother, unfortunately this is a common problem due to the poorer quality of metal in the machine. It really just needs oiling inside. Have a look at how to open the machine. It’s really very easy x
What a wonderful daughter - Jasmine you rock!
🥰 she says thank you! ♥️
The answer is dunga dress. Thank you for the overlocker advice, very useful.
