Hello!
I come from Germany and earn the average salary. When I go on vacation to Scandinavia, I have to dig deep into my pockets. For the same money I was able to afford an extra week plus a 5-star hotel in Marrakech/Morocco. GDP is relative.
Before I call a country a "joke", I would first look into its history.

I will recomend going to Iecland.. It is expensive. But the honesty of the peoeple. Also the fact that they speak Old norse. And in my humble opinnion. The best beer.
Recently the topic came up that you can travel in Europe without borders. Just so there are no misunderstandings, this only applies to the EU. For the EU (27 member states) you need a visa but only for the country in which you are entering. Countries such as Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey and Switzerland (but belong to the "Schengen area") and UK (anymore) etc. do not belong to the EU. You still need a visa and also have to go through border control.
10:00 There's pretty big differences in the quality of life for people living around the poverty line within Europe. Starting from if you have to worry about living under a bridge or not if you lose your job. Absolutely not the same in every country. Also the relative differences are much smaller in for example the Nordics - both in good and bad...
I would need to visit more countrys over the time but what i can say is i dont think this ranking is like it should.
I dont say americans have no clue but its risky in my opinion for him to do a list like this about other countrys as from where he is and its a controversial theme.
I am lucky that i live here in Switzerland with lmy loving and sweet swiss husband. Even though we are not affected much of the inflation because our salaries are but everything are soo expensive from healthcare, rent, transportation and etc.
its funny that ireland is above the uk yet there is more irish living in the uk than iin reland 🤣
Europe is stunning. But we have had thousands of yeras much like Asia of local culture. Unlike USA and Canda. Sorry to say it.
