Find the image online that you want to perform the reserve image search online by either copying the image links/downloading the image from Social media for example, or locate/download the picture from your WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Skype or other messaging apps. Navigate to Google Image search engine and upload the picture or image link and hit search. Google will then provide you with all the "hits" that your image appears on. Hope this helps people not to get catfished.

If the person you're talking to is very attractive in photos but refuses to do a video call it's a scammer. There are tons of red flags but that's the biggest one besides asking for money

this saved me. i was asking for a commission and asked for previous works. he sent me pics of "his" past projects. they were kind of blurry so i did the image search thing and found the original creator. the scammer cropped out the water marks.

I’ve tried this with multiple people. People that I knew were using someone else’s photo for their accounts online and I would check those pictures and it couldn’t find anything
oh. so it doesn't always work? A few years ago, a man found my contact info on a dating site through my photo, but I must have uploaded it to Facebook, too - maybe as a profile pic. I don't remember how.
