In this video, I will be showing you how to perform a Google reverse image search on your mobile device such as a smartphone. You will be introduced to four Google reverse image search methods. The first three methods will involve using the Google app and the final method will involve the Google Photos app. You will search with an image from Google images search results utilizing the Google apps Google Lens integration, you will then search with an image that you found from a website that isn't Google Images, and finally you will search with an image that you have downloaded from the internet or have saved on your device using the Google app and the Google Photos app respectively. Reverse image searching on Google has had a major change with the integration and implementation of Google Lens. Google Lens can be downloaded as a stand alone app on both the Play Store and App Store. It is however already integrated into the Google app, Google Photos app, Google Camera app, and images.google.com or www.google.com It can therefore be used flawlessly through any of these Google apps or services mentioned above. Google lens not only allows to search for identically matching images that it finds online but it also allows you to search within the image for these 7 main categories: Translate, Text, Search, Homework, Shopping, Places, and Dining. For example if the person you were searching was wearing a distinct item of clothing, then the shopping category would be populated with helpful search results of websites where you can buy that item of clothing or a visually similar item online. The image would also have a blank white circle(s) denoting the potential search possibilities for that item in question. Google lens is not only limited to searching for clothing items but objects found within images too. Google reverse image search is a very powerful tool in your arsenal to catch and expose catfishers. Do not neglect it, as it could save you a lot of time and heartache if you are currently pursing an online romance. Romantic scammers are plentiful and ruthless, do not let them fool you out of your hard earned money.

Steps To Perform A Google Reverse Image Search Using The Google App (integrated with Google Lens):
(i) Reverse Image Search With An Image from Google Images Search Results:
1. Open the Play Store or App Store and search for Google and install the Google app (do the same for the Google Photos app)
2. Tap on the Google app to open it
3. Tap on Search
4. Search for your image
5. Tap on the Images tab
6. At the bottom left, tap on the Google lens icon "Search inside image"
7. Select the full image area or part of the image
8. Tap on a visual match search result that's of interest and then tap on visit to go to the site where your searched image appears on.
(ii) Reverse Image Search With An Image From A Website That Isn't Google Images:
1. Navigate to the website that has your image of interest
2. Long press on the image and tap on Search image with Google Lens
3. Select image area
4. At the bottom, scroll to find related search results or tap on the icon at the bottom right with the world and magnifying glass to search for your image on Google images for sites featuring said image.
(iii) Reverse Image Search With A Saved Or Downloaded Image Using Google & Google Photos Apps:
1. In the Google app tap on the camera icon in the search bar and in the Google Photos app, locate your image and tap on the Google Lens icon
2. Refer to steps 3-4 in (ii) above.
