Had to search the comments, but she uses a 1cm seam allowance. However, if you're in the US and don't use the metric system, it's closest to a 3/8in seam allowance.
Such an elegant and romantic dress! I love that you always take your time showing the footage of the final product! The only thing I‘m missing a little are some close ups, so we can see the details of your beautiful work!💃🏻
Thank you so much for your comment, this is something that hadn't occurred to me! Detail shots!! Such a good idea!! My next video I will try to get some :)
Love this! Can’t wait to make my own! I made your bridgerton dress this weekend for my Halloween costume (hand stitching only since I don’t have a sewing machine right now - it was a lot of work lol) and had a great time! Thanks so much for making these beautiful patterns! Can’t wait to see more 💕
That pattern is available in my Etsy and I have a Video for it as well :) It does take alot of elastic and can be quite challenging, but it is very cute! ua-cam.com/video/LeVSvyfT8N0/v-deo.htmlsi=Svdq5qPvboa89TqG
This dress (and you wearing it) remind me so much of Adele in the music video for Send my love (to your new lover). You and it are both so beautiful ❤️
Hi, Ive tried 8 times to sew the bodice side front to the bodice front and they never match up. I have bought your pattern thing and cant find any helpful steps with this part. Any tips?
Hi, I will try to give you a few tips, hopefully these help. Since the Princess seams are cut on a curve- that means it cuts into the bias of the fabric. So sometimes these cut edges can stretch out with handeling. Depending on your fabric the cut edges can stretch a little or a lot. On thing that helps would be to add a stay stitch to the cut curved edges to help prevent any stretching. If the pieces is very stretched it might be worth recutting the pieces. A final thing to do, if these tips above don't work and you want to continue on, would be start your matching at the top of the curve and work your way down pinning. Sew the seam and then trim any excess at the bottom. This will even out the waist edge so you can continue on with the dress. Be sure to try on the bodice and make sure it still suitable. I hope this helps some.
Hello, this is a beautiful dress! I bought your pattern. I would like to know what the seam allowances are. I was unable to find that information on the pattern. Thank you.

Does anyone know if it's included in the pattern or if we need to add it?
thank you very much. I have been trying to find the seam allowance for a bit now. You have helped me a ton.

Gorgeous dress! The only thing, I will do differently is to add long sleeves. You look very beautiful in the dress!
Thank you! That is very kind of you. I think long sleeves would be lovely, a very romantic and creative update!

Hi, does the pattern include seam allowance?
Where are you pinning the pockets to? Like how far down from the top of the skirt?
