That was hilarious! I too love my 3 door Jimny and have more or less the same thoughts about the 5 door when released this year by Suzuki in Mexico. Cheers!
Love it! I was wondering, I'm a Kiwi moving to Aus (Vic) next year and wanted to find out what's the best site/place to buy used 4WD. I'm unfortunately putting my lil Jimny on the selling block but could see myself picking up another one or even going big and getting a Patrol or LC.
Hey Tony 😊 ‘Carsales’ website or app is my far the easiest and most comprehensive way to buy a car. It covers vehicles over the entire country. Also Facebook marketplace 😊
One Benefit would be that the longer chassis would make it easier for Ute Conversions. I like the both by Busta Lime does have a more useful tray than the Little Rig. Another benefit would be marginally improved stability on the highway due to a longer wheelbase and marginally more reach when rock climbing. These are still terrible reasons to get a 5-door instead of a 3-door, but does bring the grand total of reasons upto 3. Another reason that highlights the superiority of the 3-door is the extensive range of compatible aftermarket accessories from around the world. Any accessories between the back seats and the tailgate will need to be reengineered including Sliders/Running Boards, Long Range Tanks, Roof Racks, Cargo storage solutions and underbody protection.
Iam curious as to whether or not the 5 door would be more stable off road and with less roll over potential? I know its not that much longer but the jimny does look scary to drive in some incline/decline off camber situations.
The benefits could not be much, but it's enogh for some...... The real problem Will be the prices, if the difference between the basic one from 2018, and the "van" one from today is like 6000€ difference, how expensive Will be the longer one
Great video! I loved your answer! Greetings from Mexico!
Thank you! 😃
