I have the Z1mk1 mainly for portable use and testing tracks, practice away from my main DJ setup. As for loops and other workflow, I have used the Z1 in the past for some very basic mixing at a Swimming and Tennis club. It took me only minutes to set up and basically do simple fades for popular music. I was even able to let people try some mixing and get excited about trying Djing. For that type of entertainment using loops or other effects wasn't really needed. The focus was just playing some music. This new version would be more fun with the mixer effects easily accessible and the ability to cue up decks C and D if needed. Plus it looks very modern also.
Der Z1 MK2 macht in Verbindung mit dem X1 MK3 echt richtig Spass! Hoffentlich dauert es jetzt nicht wieder ein Jahr bis ihr den passenden F1 dazu rausbringt. Grüsse! ✌️
Thank you Native Instruments for creating new Hardware and Software 🤗♥️ Haven't watched the video till the end yet but I can already tell this IS a real update compared to the Z1 Mk1. Added screens, added features, more buttons, sleeker looks and hopefully also more options now to Midi-Map additional functions. And not a huge price increase compared to Z1 list price. Traktor P4 is designed with features for scratching, but it also depends on the hardware controller or mixer you’re using. The crossfader settings allows you to customise the crossfader curve, enabling sharp cut-ins, which is crucial for scratching.
In the same way as the other devices with Mixer FX, if you press and hold the numbered FX select or filter button, and then press the FX on/off button you can send different FX to each channel.
