Consistent bumper to bumper 200mph traffic, for 400/500 miles, can be a bit boring its best to watch the highlights of round-round races, but any point is exciting when looked at. Naturally aspirated, high compression V8 engines, uniform vehicle performance leading to the race focus being on strategy and skill rather than tech, but for some reason people still do NASCAR vs F1 like it's a reasonable comparison? For more detail, NASCARs have 5.7 liter V8 engines that produce around 800 horsepower, while V8 Supercars have 5 liter V8s that produce just under 650 horsepower. NASCARs have a much higher top speed, but are also physically larger and heavier than V8 supercars, and have smaller wheels and less assists, meaning the two cars are roughly comparable in overall performance. While a NASCAR can go faster and harder, it's also more difficult to control. Whether a V8 Supercar or a NASCAR would have the advantage would depend on what track they'd be racing on.
