Thank you Sir. 1) Yes you can give your juveniles salt bath 2) At any stage, mostly when you notice early symptoms of disease. You can also give them occasionally once or twice a month. 3) - Feed them when the sun is out. - Coat their feed with multivitamins to improve their appetite - Add probiotics to your pond water to help improve general health, feed digestion and overall health of your fishes. I hope this answers your questions.
Good day madam beautiful😊may i know how to apply antibiotic on pond? what is the dosage?how often i will do it?and what are the other preventive measures?thanks a lot..watching from Philippines😁
The best water to prevent fry mortality is by ensuring the water parameters are correct. I know most farmers face the issue of mortality at this stage and this is usually caused by change in the water parameters, over feeding, or disease. At this stage biosecurity has to be taken very important. Proper daily disinfection of materials used in the hatchery like hose, scoop net, bowls and our hands inclusive. Bacteria are easily attached to the surfaces of this material and when they get into the pond water they multiply rapidly. In a nutshell 1) Avoid overfeeding 2) Maintain the water parameters (pH, nitrate, ammonia, temperature, dissolved oxygen e.t.c) 3) Biosecurity should be at optimum I hope these answers your questions
