Woot, woot 🎉 Great video! I love seeing more and more families transition to a family style approach. I checked out Compass Classrooms this summer and it looks so good for when my boys get older! I was happy to hear you mentioned them!
There is a learning curve to any curriculum and Gather Round is one of those. I know many people struggle utilizing it but that's because it is what you make it. It can be all your subjects or just cover one topic if you wish. If you're a parent who wants everything spelled out Gather Round might not be a great fit, but personally I love it! My favorite is the gospel focus. It's so solid and I know my kids will learn to see God in everything!
Love the gospel focus in curriculum. I am at a loss as to why some Christian parents think it's more godly or Biblical to get a secular curriculum and then do privatebible study. I think they feel it's like starting with a blank slate. But you're either for Him or against Him.
@@howtohomeschool I think many are afraid of becoming "that homeschool family" or being too pushy about faith. But when you are consumed with a love for God you want your children to experience his good things!
Thank you truly love you're video as a homeschooling parent you're videos have been major help ❤
Oh, it really warms my heart to read comments like yours ❤

I know. I think I'll use compass for the kids when they're older too
We are in the middle of five in a row volume 1 and love it!
That is so good. I've heard many glowing reviews about that curriculum!
