Ladies and gentlemen I introduce you to the new generation of guitarists. The Gen Z slide tap thumpers. So long to the boomer benders. Nonthe less all of you are very skilled. Great playing
Danny's lowkey underrated, amazing writing capabilities, impeccable technique while keeping a great sense of musicality and a very good balance inbetween melody and flexing. I would genuinely listen the fuck out of a full version of that riff
This is sick Also really shows the amount of influence that Tim and Polyphia are having on modern guitar, hopefully more of ya develop a unique style for yourselves, definitely got the technique Polyphia are definitely the Gods of the new era of guitar (also Ichika)
Awesome! Want to see more of this! I can see that this is just a "compilation" of sorts, where everyone does their own thing. If you are making another one in the future, I would suggest that everyone has to stick to a single chord progression. Everyone can then do whatever they want over the chord progression, and you can piece everything together in the end. It would feel more like a collab that way :) Would be awesome to maybe take part in the future, when I get a little better at composition... xD Keep doin' what you're doin'!
New sub, thanks for the content, you have showcased an amazing group of talented people. Music is changing in wonderful ways with this modern style of guitar and such talent.
incredible playing by everyone here. I think one thing that could be done better for next year, is that this video feels and sounds more like a guitar compilation instead of a collab. It doesn't flow as smoothly as the JDBSC videos, and it feels like each guitar player is playing something completely different. but that's just something to work, on. Thank you for the hard work you put into this
I feel what you say, and i think that is something we could def make better next year. The "original" about this collab was that each one produce his own part based in one style, but with work and more coordination, can be improved. Thanks for leaving a comment.😀
The jared dines collab this year (#5) was not very flowy. I prefer #4 for that reason. All that said, this flowed pretty well. There were a few stark transitions, but overall it flowed really well imo.
happy i could be a part of this, great job everyone 🔥 special thanks to @Izvnvgi for producing my part and @Dimasiorawr for putting all this together 🙏
I’m a bit late on commenting but damn, this was sick! Really goes to show the amount of impact polyphia has had on many people. Only thing I’d recommend for if this ever happens again is to maybe work on some of the transitions between people. There were a couple that made the flow sound a bit off but overall it was still a great video and collab! Also maybe adding in a few more players that play stuff outside of the Tim Henson style may give it some more variety and make things sound more interesting. Once again great work with this video!
I mean at least I know whom to sell these shortscale 11-strings to hahaha Maybe not kidding, but you guys def can play and I like that. I'll hit you up when time is right, please ignore me writing to you from a less-than-500-subs channel (I do have other ones) Regards from Amogh Symphony
Sounds like "Modern guitarists" take a lot of inspiration from Polyphia/Tim. Some of these sound like rejected Polyphia songs lol. Good playing regardless.
