what an incredible story. Awesome for Highland Park's bravest! You guys deserve the best
Now this is what America is about. United we stand. I don't have to believe or agree with someone to stand with them. So tired or this political division. Great job this makes me proud.
800 fires a year? That’s more than 2 fires a day.
Damn, it's less than three square miles!

They respond to surrounding cities which are being included.
@@FairfaxJack They cover way more than that. They also respond to surrounding cities and those calls are being included.
Many of the fires in Highland Park are arson.
this reminds me of the rivalry between Pawnee and Eagleton, Indiana.
Way to go!
It's a damn shame that any fire department can't get the equipment they need but it all comes down to how you vote. It doesn't surprise me that their brothers came through. FTM-PTB

The 25 year old truck looks new to me, probably because my local fire station runs a 16 year old truck and I live in a city of Half a million
So is Los Angeles county fire department
ez brony LACoFD just ordered Several Dozen New 2017-2018 KME Kovatch's to replace their 2000-2003 KME Severe service and Predators.
My towns engine is from 1991 and runs fine wtf they have a 2015 supthen mid mount
And how many miles did your 1991 engine runs? How many fires did it knocked out?
Dylan D Hankinson ND used a to Run In a Quality built 1993 Pierce dash, sadly it was totaled but because of the build quality, NOBODY WAS HURT!!! HOW GREAT IS THAT!!!! It's current replacement is a 2017 Pierce Saber Demo truck.
Sounds Like maybe Bergen County Jersey should follow suit for the lower half of the state. After working around there seeing 6 to 1Mill dollar pieces of apparatus in stations within a mile of each other that never sees many runs. Maybe they should help out the central and middle areas of jersey depts.
