It's amazing of how much louder of a difference there is on a mechanical siren with the air intake being blocked or unblocked. You can't really get away with it well enough on a electronic siren but still, really cool.
I have the bottom disk from the Tucson AZ air raid sirens only the bottom part and it’s banged up but I am pretty sure they used SD-10A’s ,nice to see a FS&S SD-10A chopper lol
There’s a chip in it. Once that’s filled I’ll take it to a machine shop to take down the bump from welding. Then I’ll take it to a balancing shop to remove material if needed.
Yeah. That’s all I have atm. If I can find. Din rail one, I’ll be sure to put it in. When I took it somewhere to run, that was on a 208v 30 amp circuit.

Agreed. Really neat! Thank you for the positive experience with your channel over the past year. Appreciate it.
Awesome!

I got my SD-10s from there too! A friend of mine got the parts for me and they relayed them to me.
@@cooldomino1800 that’s nice for me the parts are pretty heavy too bad I don’t have the chopper for it
It comes with the control box to turn it on and of
@@Andresplaz8804 cool! Can we get in touch so you can show me?
@@cooldomino1800 sure
AWESOME!!!!!
Absolute curiosity, would a Vevor Single to 3 phase converter work with this specific motor?
NICE
How will the rotor be rebalanced? What's the process like?

bro when its air intake isnt blocked it sounds like an allertor lol
There’s less air drag which allows the motor to spin faster.
@@JunoTheRailfan844 please keep it clean. Thanks.
@@cooldomino1800 my bad man! By the way I hope the next siren you get is the ALLERTOR lol
@@JunoTheRailfan844 yeah, I don’t think that would happen anytime soon, they are big and hard to ship. I want a screamer.
@cooldomino1800 When are you getting a A.C.A allertor?
I suggest a 60A minimum for a converter this big.
