Showcasing the kinds of racing games you can find the 1998 Nissan R390 Road Car and Race Car in while showing how things have changed. Also yes, this is a remake of 2 videos I previously made. I wanted to remake it as I wasn't satisfied with the quality of either video. It was also made during when I was still trying to pick one game per generation.

Notes:
- Runabout-2 had very annoying physics, the R390s both would oversteer just by tilting the analogue stick. Getting a clean drive was just not gonna happen.
- I had to spend some extra time on Forza Horizon 1 as it turns out I never collected the car in that game. So, I went grinding in one of the street race events.
- I wanted to record Touge Max 2, but I didn't have the car unlocked and while I did see cheats listed online to unlock all cars. They didn't work for me, I kept entering the same button combination and nothing resulted.
- Forza Motorsport's R390 Race Cars of course were inaccurate. They were using the 1997 shorttail body for some reason instead of the 1998 design. Despite having a road car model with that design.
- Of course the 1998 race car was represented better in other games such as Enthusia, Gran Turismo 2-6 (mostly), Automobilista 2, and Project CARS 2-3.

Polyphony were close to making the R390 a premium in GT6. If only they had pushed the release date a year or two they could've turned many cars to premiums.

I remember R390 in test drive 5 is the most grippy cars i tested (which mean it's have best handling among others cars on the game).

Forza never got the model correct. (1997 short-tail body with 1998 livery)

Nope. Which is odd as they have the 1998 Road Car done correctly. They could've modified the model of that to create the racing model, but choose not too.

But the racing version of R390 in Forza Motorsport 1, 2, 3, & 4, it's equipped with '97 rear bumper model (less downforce, more speed gain, unlike driving in high speed circuits).

Gran turismo had the model of the Nissan r390gt1 98 road car and race car to resemble the real life car.

Gran Turismo's modelling was on point throughout most of the series. I can't think of many car models that were bad.
