I hadn't even finished listening to this song on The Current's radio station when I went and bought it! The Jayhawks is now one of my all-time favorite bands!
Just a beautiful song from a great band. Lovely musicianship and great harmony singing. Such an underrated band.

Wow... been listening to the Jayhawks for a couple weeks. First time seeing them. I though they were a bunch of young hipsters, but they look more like a bunch of homeroom teachers. Good stuff!!
They've been around for a long time, Sam, and have a hell of an archive. I hope you check back into it. I really like "Sound of Lies" and "Rainy Day Music," but it's almost all cool stuff, with or without co-founder Mark Olson. A reunion album, "Mockingbird Time," is, to me, missable--few great melodies, oddly enough.

this is MUSIC. real, melodic, emotional, mature, sweet, and these people play their instruments well. and listen to each other. great harmonies, would have liked the lead guitar a bit louder, Jaguar doesnt sustain much or cut thru a mix... not big on the organ tone. otherwise LOVE IT !

For me The Jayhawks are it. I have every album, I will say (and nothing against Mark Olsen) I much prefer them without him.
Aw, I'll tell you what, I love it all! Love their solo stuff too! And I'll say this: the current line up is just so freekin consistent about creating amazing songs! What a gift!
