Great video again mate, never knew just how big lorry brake calipers are! I like how you explained how replace them properly, I did mechanics at college with cars and was pretty decent at brake replacements but this looks like a whole different kettle of fish
Great video - out of question why not repair the calliper its only sticking you just need slider kits £50 each and either way you gotta dissasemble the calliper so probably easier to repair
We used to all the time mate, but the labour it costs to get the seized sliders out. You’ve better off having a new calliper. But we will do what ever the customer likes 😁
Easy way to remove the torx bolts for in hubs remove rear wheels leave hand brake on and crack with a half each ratchet bar after working at Mercedes 30 years that’s my tip
Good lad, hard heavy graft doing those merc brakes, whereas the electrical jobs are lighter (no pun intended) but require alot of thinking and testing, ive been watching "tattooed tech" he could teach you a few tricks, keep up the fight cheers , ps, the scanias looking good to, cheers ,.
enjoying your videos, but 1 small issue is, when you put camera down to work, your voice is hard to hear clearly, could you get a clip on mic, which would work alot better for everyone watching...keep up the good work.

Man after my own heart , you are not worried about getting wet dirty . You get involved get right in there and sort things out .

I normally use a heal bar for those caliper caps and a 3/4 air gun for hub to disc bolts
