The fact that in the canon lore, despite the stuff travelers say to Paimon, it’s actually revealed Paimon cares about the traveler and at the quest ‘The Tree that Stands Alone’ there’s a bit of content where Paimon says she and the Traveler will be separated like the ghost family they helped. At that part I shed a tear tbh.
Childe is definitely dying. He has a family waiting for him, is a rival type of character, and made way too many promises in his story quest. That's a lot of death flags.

@Tran Minh Hoang ah, that one. i apologize, i do not know. i must've created a whole new part that doesn't go with the story. we're only going to get inazuma, and teyvat has 7 (??) archons. liyue and mondstadt are the only ones released, which we have 3 archons we know now (one is from a trailer). first you meet the anemo archon venti aka barbatos, the geo archon zhongli aka rex lapis or morax. and there's the electro archon, baal. but honestly, i just made this story up. sorry about that.

Hey look at all these endings in this comment section and other sad genshin endings...I'm no different so: Sad ending The battle is over...both sides are heavily wounded...the first person to fall is the mastermind (the person pulling the strings the entire time) then aether. Lumine and Paimon both rushed to the gravely injured Aether while everyone else is too shocked to move. Lumine and paimon clasp both of Aether's hand and telling him he's gonna be okay. With what little strength Aether had, he used a lot of his energy to...smile. His injured face is smiling with no ounce of sadness in his eyes. Lumine and paimon knew Aether was pushing himself as hard as he can to smile, but neither of them said a thing. The music starts to play and the three of them are just silent listening to the world of Teyvat calmly singing in the wind. Aether then suddenly spoke up, "Tevyat slowly became the only world I would consider my 2nd home...so paimon. Thanks for being with me when I was being a goof, and when I was being serious. Thanks for providing with information about this world. Thanks for being the best guide In this world". paimon already in pain was trying her best not to cry and she was able to keep it together. "and Finally, thanks for being my friend." Then Aether closed his eyes, still smiling and laid down. Paimon felt the coldness of his body go to her hand. And that's when when paimon lost it. Paimon is crying and she can't stop. The only thing that's drowning out her sorrows is the music playing in the backround. No one tried to comfort her, because they themselves couldn't move due to shock and sadness. Teyvat that day experienced tremendous sorrow and would go down as "The Traveler's final journey." Headcanon after Paimon bids farewell to the twins, she gathers enough power to travel between worlds. But something goes wrong and the backlash sent her into an another world. She crash-lands into a 7th century Europe where she was found by the matriarch of the Kaslana Family. Having lost her memories and powers due to the dimensional backlash, Paimon's form was reverted that of a human child. She was then adopted into the household and was aptly named: "Kallen".
This is my theory, parts of the godess are separated, part of it developing in the antagonist (opposite traveler), paimon, and perhaps other characters

Can we appreciate Paimon's VA singing this song even though Paimon is from Genshin she's singing a song from Honkai Impact 3rd meant for Fu Hua. my personal wish is for when the story ends aether, lumine, and paimon set up a little hut where the game first starts and you can keep exploring and stuff and as you do endgame quests and stuff the hut beings to fill up with pictures of all the characters.

Even tho i dont play the game, reading all of these comment make me somehow cry, i know the feeling when someone who accompany you, together through the journey, always besides you, someone who always tease you, sometimes it can be so annoying, but when the person who give you that feeling is gone,we will miss those memories.

My theory is paimon gonna die in the end of traveler journey i know it's kinda wierd but there's some text when loading the world or teleport. The word is "Paimon is the best partner ever seen" that word is always inside my head it feel's not just courage word but more like a sorrow and courage word that paimon was the best partner, paimon always cheerful traveler and always beside traveler no matter what happend and that word is reminisce her for the fun journey traveler had with her CMIIW but seriously mihoyo even gave us sad story in npc and another character game there's no way mihoyo wont make a sad no really sad story in traveler journey
Never trust mihoyo the story might be good at first lots of good times but at the end you will end up feeling sadness, sorrow and other emotions akin to a tragic events be warned they're unto some Shakespeare kind of story with lots of tragic and sad ending...
But what if paimon is actually the unknown god itself? We always thought we will meet dainsleif in the end of the story but nope, mihoyo released it early and no leaks about that. Also we'll meet lumine in 1.4 so sit back, relax and enjoy the journey.
Actually I don’t think paimon is the “unknown god” because in Honkai there are these things called ELFS. Basically there was this ine character named Kevin who had an ELF form of himself which was 1% of his power. So I think paimon might be probably an ELF version of the unknown god. (Sorry for my stupid English)
I have a theory that paimon was PART of the Unknown goddess (menurut gua sih Herrscher of the end) and when kiana and sirin merged to become herrscher of the end most of kiana made it out and became an ELF. Lost her memories and named herself paimon. That's my theory atleast
When we compare Paimon to Kiana there are a lot similarities beetwen them. I came up with theory close to yours after finding many refferences to DMC in Genshin. In short, Kiana stole Yamato from Vergil, stabbed herself and boom, we have Paimon and Unknown God
Meh but there's no evidence that Herrschers can split themselves like a greek god or something. The most we've seen is Seele who's alter ego is literally just a stigmata.

No lie, I think Paimon might be my favorite character in Genshin, even moreso as I progressed through the story. IDK why but I feel like how much she really cares about the traveler and enjoys being with them shines through so clearly.

Hahaha. Just kill off the characters? No, they kill off the character, make the living characters absolutely miserable, flash back about said character and better times so you can get more onion in your eyes, hint that said character might survive before making the final stab and say 'nope'. And the most infuriating thing is they executed it well enough I can't call it cheap manipulation, all the stabs they delivered are vital for the growth of the main character. Every triumph that made me scream 'yeah!' came with an onion juice sprinkle.
Honestly, Paimon grew on me so fucking much, I love this little Rascal, her Humor, her adorableness, the way she synergises with the Travellers, how she´s practically one of the few people, who calls them by thier names (at least in Dialoges, cause you can name the Twins n´stuff) the way how shes always with you. If something happens to her It would break my heart. Also so many theories regarding her, I will not say anything because it could spoiler people. Some of them would tear me apart if they were true. qwq I love you Paimon, lets be together forever

Honkai has brought such an good story too my life. I love doing gacha, elysian realm, Q-singulars and everything. However many people hate the game, i will never let go of it. It brought happiness too my life. Genshin, is just an game i thought would’ve been fun too play since it was related too honkai, it is fun indeed! But Honkai stays in my heart forever tho. This cover by Paimon was amazing. Rubia is truly amazingly sang by Zhou Shen, and also the covers genshin impact voice-actors do. I’ll never forget Honkai whenever it’s the Past, present or future.

So in what i think the unknow god (paimon) all this time follow the traveler to his journey by watching in his side but in the end before aether/ lumine meet his brother/sister they must facing the enemy in begining that is unknown god (paimon).

You can be my travel guide, alright?” Paimon smiled, wiping her tears away and smiling as this music plays in the background. “Well then..Paimon promises to be a great Guide!” You smile, helping her up. “Now don’t you ever do that again without a warning, Paimon!” “Hehe..Can’t promise that, -your name in Genshin-“ You look at your sibling, giving the signal to go and explore the new world we have landed in. The screen fades to black as the screen says: “You have ended your journey, Traveler. Now, Your new journey begins soon..”
Paimon watches as the portal closes, after saying goodbye to the traveler, she floats back down the path in the sky. She looks down at the whole of Teyvat below her and a thought comes to mind. Was she just their emergency food? She wondered if the traveler really thought about her as a friend and not just a stepping stone. Where would she go now? She had nobody to travel with. She looked up at the sky... maybe she was thought of as a friend, what if she could be useful. “That’s it.” She said. I am going to see them again, and until then, I’ll help people as many as I can. Even if I was someone emergency food, at least she was their emergency food. P.s Everybody is going to regret calling Paimon emergency food at the end.
When I call her emergency food I just kinda see it as a little tease, like how an older sibling teases their younger sibling but will still be willing to die to protect their little sibling

The battle is over...both sides are heavily wounded...the first person to fall is the mastermind (the person pulling the strings the entire time) then aether. Lumine and Paimon both rushed to the gravely injured Aether while everyone else is too shocked to move. Lumine and paimon clasp both of Aether's hand and telling him he's gonna be okay. With what little strength Aether had, he used a lot of his energy to...smile. His injured face is smiling with no ounce of sadness in his eyes. Lumine and paimon knew Aether was pushing himself as hard as he can to smile, but neither of them said a thing. The music starts to play and the three of them are just silent listening to the world of Teyvat calmly singing in the wind. Aether then suddenly spoke up, "Tevyat slowly became the only world I would consider my 2nd home...so paimon. Thanks for being with me when I was being a goof, and when I was being serious. Thanks for providing with information about this world. Thanks for being the best guide In this world". paimon already in pain was trying her best not to cry and she was able to keep it together. "and Finally, thanks for being my friend." Then Aether closed his eyes, still smiling and laid down. Paimon felt the coldness of his body go to her hand. And that's when when paimon lost it. Paimon is crying and she can't stop. The only thing that's drowning out her sorrows is the music playing in the backround. No one tried to comfort her, because they themselves couldn't move due to shock and sadness. Teyvat that day experienced tremendous sorrow and would go down as "The Traveler's final journey." My theory is paimon gonna die in the end of traveler journey i know it's kinda wierd but there's some text when loading the world or teleport. The word is "Paimon is the best partner ever seen" that word is always inside my head it feel's not just courage word but more like a sorrow and courage word that paimon was the best partner, paimon always cheerful traveler and always beside traveler no matter what happend and that word is reminisce her for the fun journey traveler had with her
CMIIW but seriously mihoyo even gave us sad story in npc and another character game there's no way mihoyo wont make a sad no really sad story in traveler journey
Never trust mihoyo the story might be good at first lots of good times but at the end you will end up feeling sadness, sorrow and other emotions akin to a tragic events be warned they're unto some Shakespeare kind of story with lots of tragic and sad ending...
But what if paimon is actually the unknown god itself?
We always thought we will meet dainsleif in the end of the story but nope, mihoyo released it early and no leaks about that. Also we'll meet lumine in 1.4 so sit back, relax and enjoy the journey.
Actually I don’t think paimon is the “unknown god” because in Honkai there are these things called ELFS. Basically there was this ine character named Kevin who had an ELF form of himself which was 1% of his power. So I think paimon might be probably an ELF version of the unknown god.

I have a theory that paimon was PART of the Unknown goddess (menurut gua sih Herrscher of the end) and when kiana and sirin merged to become herrscher of the end most of kiana made it out and became an ELF. Lost her memories and named herself paimon.

When we compare Paimon to Kiana there are a lot similarities beetwen them. I came up with theory close to yours after finding many refferences to DMC in Genshin. In short, Kiana stole Yamato from Vergil, stabbed herself and boom, we have Paimon and Unknown God
I think Paimon and Dainsleif are two parts of the godess.

Hahaha. Just kill off the characters? No, they kill off the character, make the living characters absolutely miserable, flash back about said character and better times so you can get more onion in your eyes, hint that said character might survive before making the final stab and say 'nope'.
And the most infuriating thing is they executed it well enough I can't call it cheap manipulation, all the stabs they delivered are vital for the growth of the main character. Every triumph that made me scream 'yeah!' came with an onion juice sprinkle.

Honestly, Paimon grew on me so fucking much, I love this little Rascal, her Humor, her adorableness, the way she synergises with the Travellers, how she´s practically one of the few people, who calls them by thier names (at least in Dialoges, cause you can name the Twins n´stuff) the way how shes always with you. If something happens to her It would break my heart.

Honkai has brought such an good story too my life. I love doing gacha, elysian realm, Q-singulars and everything. However many people hate the game, i will never let go of it. It brought happiness too my life. Genshin, is just an game i thought would’ve been fun too play since it was related too honkai, it is fun indeed! But Honkai stays in my heart forever tho. This cover by Paimon was amazing. Rubia is truly amazingly sang by Zhou Shen, and also the covers genshin impact voice-actors do. I’ll never forget Honkai whenever it’s the Past, present or future.

You see some people tearing up, you see people looking upset, as you waved and walked to the portal, you heard a yell:

Paimon Was flying to you, turning to her other form, running and hugging you.
You almost fell down as you got hugged, you heard her crying as she hugged you tight.

She looked up at you, she was in tears, heavily crying.
You stare at her, feeling upset as you responded.

Paimon watches as the portal closes, after saying goodbye to the traveler, she floats back down the path in the sky. She looks down at the whole of Teyvat below her and a thought comes to mind. Was she just their emergency food? She wondered if the traveler really thought about her as a friend and not just a stepping stone. Where would she go now? She had nobody to travel with. She looked up at the sky... maybe she was thought of as a friend, what if she could be useful. “That’s it.” She said. I am going to see them again, and until then, I’ll help people as many as I can. Even if I was someone emergency food, at least she was their emergency food.
P.s Everybody is going to regret calling Paimon emergency food at the end.
