Fun fact. In the original Chinese ver, Paimon's nickname for him is actually "卖唱的", directly translating to "sell sing the" more accurately translating to a ‘someone who sells their singing’ or a street performer/singer. So instead of calling him tone-deaf bard, Paimon is saying he's just a street performer with a hat for change (which isn't too far from Venti singing for apples actually).

@@OneEyed8135 miaojiang is trilingual: she's fluent in chinese, english, and japanese, which is really impressive. as a chinese person who's fluent in chinese and english (evidently. hopefully.) its pretty difficult to be good at both, especially w/o an accent.

@@meraki2651 The way Mihoyo handled it in Honkai is similar to how people have said: dead in story but still obtainable and playable. There's no explanation for it storywise, they're just there.

When the cover song started I was thinking, I mean what did I expect, Zhou Shen has such a heavenly voice and the VA is a VA not a professional singer... but then the climax hit and I think I actually like the cover's chorus part even more than the original in some ways, especially the power in the voice.

I always see zhous and miaojiangs version different. While zhous voice in my head pops the honkai plot, on her version here I always imagine venti singing this to part away from traveler before dying..or so D:
The original rendition has an ethereal feel to it, especially the way the high notes are sung, like a thin thread vibrating silently in the winds. It feels diaphanous and difficult to perceive at times, like some lonely fairy's aria on a silent lake under the moonlight.
This rendition, however, has power and assertiveness attached to it. There is an emotional impact from the way it is intoned. It beckons. It revolves. It bids the listener to listen and experience the the wishes in the song.
