In this country, our farmers are encouraged to leave cutting the edges of fields for bugs and insects to thrive. As you see the birds love it and some native species thought to be nearly extinct are now surviving. Another good job . X
Cutting through that part of the field looked to easy for you.but doesn’t hurt having an easy job. Great video.just keep doing what your doing.kudos 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Devin, watching you bush hog is almost as enjoyible as watching you with big and little munchie! Just very relaxing, and destressing for me, Love your videos, Awesome job in sharing and filming and editing them. look forward to more. SO funny seeing those birds coming in to get to their dinner. like you rang the dinner bell on the bugs..Those birds just started following you around. DINNER!!!
When I mow my place the martins come and fly patterns around my zero turn mower because of the bugs that get stirred up. Sometimes it seems like there is a dozen or more of those little guys flying formation with me. It's cool.
Nice work! I wish my area was more like this. I’m battling boulders everywhere and downed trees galore. I’m trying to develop 40 acres of woods into a campground with just a small skid and a few attachments.
For sure, That’s the goal. I’ve put some things up for sale to try and get one. I’ve got some videos of the area on my channel. I can like every site with boulders and still have leftovers lol
I've seen those egrets pop up on alot of farming / brush cutting videos. They learn very quickly when they hear a big machine pushing through brush or doing harvesting, the bugs will be flying. As you said... one big bug buffet.
Imagine if we had these mowing hogs back in the day, (read:1980's) Life would have been much much easier !! ha ha I mowed lots in my neighborhood then tractor mowed the grounds of the college I was in, circa 1986-87. That is one sweet machine for sure.
Those cattle egrets also LOVE small frogs! When I was a kid and would be plowing wheat stubble, they would hover over me and land in the furrow that I left and they ate anything that moved! Yes, they love to stand on the back of cattle and eat the flies that bother the cattle!
Hey, Davin: Great video. Those birdies are Egrets, native to Florida and southern warm climates, but they do occasionally migrate northward. They feast on bugs, so you created them really happy.
The birds look like cattle egrets. And, yes, birds love freshly cut areas. I've seen videos from Texas, and it's usually grackles that descend on a mowed yard and have a feast.
Yep, you gotta do what you gotta do, especially if you want to pay the bills. You could probably modify the MTL by cutting and opening into the back of the mower housing and then weld some extra steal to the top and sides to help it keep the strength where you cut the back away from. How long did this take with the old mower?
I always like cutting a buffer myself when there are tree next to the road like that too my friend, just makes sense! You’re doing great! 👌🏻👍🏼👍🏼 I just see that mower leaving what looks like skipped spots on each run brother! Just looks like the blades are sharp enough, don’t know! You’re cutting pretty fast speed though and that stuff looks pretty thick! I’m not here to judge you my friend, so keep it up my friend! Those look like cow birds, you see them down here doing the same thing and they love to hang out with the cows in the fields eat bugs and flies the swarm around the cows grazing! They will follow the mower while you’re mowing! lol 😂 yeah they’re funny to watch! They eat a whole lot of grasshoppers!
Fantastic video. I think the prototype cutter works fantastic to say the very least. Hey I had a thought come to mind while watching the video. So I was thinking about the use of a side mulcher to work in conjunction with the prototype mower. The reason that I was thinking about it was simply because of how the mower cut and pushed all the cuttings to the right side. So having a small mulching attachment to mulch the clippings in one pass. Just wanted to ask you if thats a good question, idea to ask? Anyways thanks for the entertainment. the camera tripod worked good as well.
Thanks for explaining your thinking (~6 min) as to the patterns that you are going to run. Are they snowy egrets (?) looking for food being flushed out? Never mind, you just explained.
watching all the birds show up on new cut grass is always enjoyable to watch in any of the lawn cutting videos I look at.
Cattle Egrets...they will definitely follow a mower ..you're doing the work for them !
Great video again and the birds eating all the bugs lovely to watch.
You are feeding the mulcher and the mulcher is feeding the birds! A win-win! Great job!
A job well done Davin 😊
Pretty cool riding on the machine with you watching it cut down everything. 😎
You really gave those birds a treat !
That thing is just a beast. I’m loving the inside camera view. Great job Davin looks magnificent 🤙😎🇦🇺
That is a truly hard working tool that could make a huge difference for a lot of folks.
You are too darn funny with those birds.
That machine is awesome I really enjoy your videos. 😊❤
I feel you on the 7 day work weeks! Thanks for sharing!
You're like a Disney Princess. The wildlife just flocks to you.
I’m just surprised that you do all this work and still have time to edit these videos my friend, awesome job! Thanks
Awwww hell yeah. That's some serious cleanup right there. Keep on keepin on.
Congratulations on getting you one because you work speaks for It self great job dude 😎

Great cutter! Making hay!

Great work as always, thanks for taking the time to share

If you can swing it get yourself a mini excavator it will compliment your machine nicely and you would not believe how useful they are
For sure, That’s the goal. I’ve put some things up for sale to try and get one. I’ve got some videos of the area on my channel. I can like every site with boulders and still have leftovers lol
@@WildhurstLodge I noticed used equipment prices are starting to drop down to a more reasonable level again take your time
that birds are enjoying them self on the bugs there they are finding but that mower is a beast
That machine says I am hungry, fed me! lol.
I love the cattle egrets following along behind you.
I've seen those egrets pop up on alot of farming / brush cutting videos. They learn very quickly when they hear a big machine pushing through brush or doing harvesting, the bugs will be flying. As you said... one big bug buffet.
Pied Piper of egrets. I love to watch this when someone has a big job like this and the birds take advantage.
Cow birds, you'd be surprised at what all they eat. I get them following me everytime I brush hog my property. :) Good video, sir.

The birds are the star in this video!

I love ❤the cab views and the distance views of the job, about 50/50.
With the front and back being open you also have sufficient air flow to keep the debris from getting bunched up underneath the cutting deck.
Fine work,Sir.
Davin enjoyed a nice stork meat sandwich later after he finished mowing.🤣 Nice video.
Or Egrets?
Great job! Awesome mower, it did the job handily. It's a sale.
Awesome job, very impressive! 😊
Thank you for sharing!
Hey from NW Ohio, Devin glad to see you have lots of work to keep the $$ flowing in. Take care(a fan).
Nice work Devin looks great
Perfect job for the Mega Mower! I think you have about twenty new fans from those white Egrets.
The birds look like cattle egrets. And, yes, birds love freshly cut areas. I've seen videos from Texas, and it's usually grackles that descend on a mowed yard and have a feast.
Worked slick on all that brush.
That mower is AWSOM! That was quite the following of Egrets you had too! (New fan base for you).
LOL - the timelapse with those birds following you 🤣
Great job cool birds great video thanks Devon
The birds got full after awhile 😂
It's like what Lou Holzt use to say 'You can't stop it, you can ONLY hope to contain it'!!!! Welcome to MEGA MOWER- PA-LOOZA 2023!!!!
I love how it just eats it all up! Would like that done around my pond!
Good video. I liked the cutter. ❤
Great job. I hope the sales man gives you a good price when you make a purchase. You spoke highly of the brush cutter.
Gobbling down that brush
Happy 4th of July🎉
Be safe out there!❤ Ur videos
Davin, that cutter and the 120 are a sweet setup
THAT WAS GREAT!!!
Great vid! You should call it Ironman cause that middle part kinda looks like Ironmans head. 😂
The white egrets are hysterical to watch, especially at high speed.
The birds are just too cute 😂❤
Very satisfying and something definitely for an air conditioned cab.
Wow that thing is fast. Looks like a good time also.

I worry about the critters which I'm suré sounds silly. I really enjoy watching the work though. I would LOVE to get out there and mow like that! 😊
Don't have to worry, they're not going to hang around with that much noise and crunching! They'll get the heck out of the way fast!
@@komitadjie Sometimes baby deer get the unfortunate dispatch from the mulcher or combine. It's a mess! However, MOST animals will get out of the way.
Great job man 😊
It amazes me how good a job this machine does
Birds look like cattle egrits. In Oklahoma, they follow cattle and eat bugs and ticks off cattle.
John,I started laughing out loud after the Wonka joke 😅. How are you doing? I am so sorry for your loss. 😢
OOPS,,, Davin......

Cattle Egrets..... in Hawaii they chase park and school lawnmowers. Big mowers and 50 egrets, so funny to see.
Великолепно 👍

8:10 These machines are so impressive, I'm a big fan of machines so I made videos like this about machines
That cutter is amazing👍👍👍🇨🇦
Wow! Instant mulch.
your like the pied piper of Hamlin with all the wild life /birds following you to your merry tune of grinding up the bushes...lol.
On jobs you do yearly will you do a clean up after so you don’t run into trash or stumps the next time for ease and safety?
Crazy those birds were following you around
Let me place a piece of 1 inch rebar. I'll stop him. Great video!
U are doing a great job man
Let the Big Dog Eat! Speaking of dogs, I bet if you had to chose between your dog and the Mega Mower X, the pooch would come in second.
It consumed anything in its way!
would like to see what the blades looked like before and after a job like this.
Enjoyed the content 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
trade in get this unit letta rip tatter chip. i agree it cuts way better running circles around your other head.
👍👍
If you look carefully at 22:29 you can see a mouse running away!!
Awesome job . Keep it up . Do you still have the utility tractor with loader and implement attachment ?
That is amazing and efficient, the birds loved following right after you made one pass through- are they herons?
hello ldigl4 it's is randy and i like yours is cool thanks friends randy
That machine just kills it. 👍. Wonky crooked, off center, askew.
How often do you have to sharpen the blades on the mower?
