- Time to modify and upgrade the interior of the Audi S5 V8 whilst i was waiting for some new parts which would hopefully fix the power issue but i then ran into other issues!

Matt, another great video. And without wishing misfortune, I like to when things go wrong, and you get to the bottom of the issue, as that's what happens in the real world. That's why I like watching the likes of Lee Lockwood and Savage Garage, real car enthusiasts working in the real world. Well done on all of the new subscribers, they've made a very good decision 👍
My S5 had the same experience, changed all the coils to NGKs and changed the spark plugs
Plugged diagnostics in and came up with multiple misfire that jumped from cylinder to cylinder
Eventually took it to an audi specialist and they said it was valve bounce that occurred at high RPM
A month later I ended up selling it..
I hope you end up solving the problem as they are awesome cars when running properly 👌
One thing I love about this channel is this guys not half hearted with the projects he does he makes some quality content unlike some that just make a video for 30mins showing themselves putting stickers on there cars

Which engine does your a5 have ?
@@danielveres5021 a 3.0 tdi one. chiptuned to stage 1+ (300 hp+) 👍🏻 I made an acceleration video on my channel.

@@danielveres5021 did get a DPF warning, I changed the sensor and never an error since then. They also tuned up the shifting gear or clutch.. dont remember it anymore 🤭

Had the same problem with steering wheel...much happier solution is to buy flat bottom steering wheel off b8 facelift or a5 facelift...different buttons as well than on tt or a3...still need modifications but works in the end...anyway good video bro keep goin ;)

Great work man. Nice to see it all coming together. I have a Q7 2010 that I’m going to get remapped and do a few mods to. Have you looked at fitting LED dome and reading light.

do you think that it might actually be the buttons? maybe the connectors are gone, the contacts etc? try swapping out the actual buttons perhaps ? and that race is still on offer ;)

Mate just the colour 💙 and the sound 🔊 that absolute beast makes is worth every penny no matter how much 👌p. S the inside wrap would have been cool in the blue but still looks better 👍
No problems with my A5! Bought it cheap 2nd owner with a manual box and the V6 engine is enough, more fun when you change gear.

Major respect for wrapping it black and not fake carbon fibre
Something that I think you should look into is the b8.5 LED light bar tail light conversion, if you have a vagcom its literally a case of buy lights, buy plug adapter and type a few numbers into vagcom and hit enter, not to mention they look amazing with a light smoke wrap
You and that steering wheel just like me on a golf GTD steering wheel all bloody day play my hair out ended up going at the end to a place called hazy days in Surrey I believe within two hours well done good luck

Hey mat, your videos are awsome. I have a bmw 116i f20 and I have the same problem over here. The car has a lot of power loss but we cant find the problem. The injectors were good at all...

Black Mirros and Splitter would look good. I reckon things look best in 3s. Body, trim, calipers. Blue, black and yellow. 👌🏼

Commented it on previous videos already but I like the idea of you keeping the splitter and mirrors the stock colour, makes the car stand out a bit more and look classier IMO, of course it’s your car and your choice though!
I think my reasoning is that having all the trim blacked out just makes it look a bit like any old black edition a5, the alloy splitter and chrome mirrors scream that it’s an S model
Matt you have a quality performance Audi, running costs are bound to be higher than a small runabout. Just like you I love my Audi.
Be careful when washing the engine bay. I have a colleague who had water ingress between a electrical connector. It played havoc with the engine running for weeks. Other than that NGK coil packs are a premium product. I used to use NGK spark plugs way back when 3.0 and 2.8 injection Capris were a affordable performance car........that was in my youth.

The interior wrap is very bad bro, why not try carbon fiber wrap instead.

I spray painted the plastics in my car and it came out looking like factory spec
or better try a alcantara/suede wrap
