    Thankyou Doctor Snipes, your videos are fascinating and fun.
    I am tapering off the GABAergic pill Lyrica. Tapering side effects are extreme burning, jerking, twitching, irritablilty and low mood.
    Cannot find a doctor in Australia who knows anything about how difficult tapering is.
    Now trying to learn about how Lyrica affects and alters other neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin.
    It explains a lot about what is happening in my body.
    I am sensitive to most pills and only take 100mg Lyrica .
    There is a distinct lack of understanding among too many doctors of the dark side of GABAergic drugs on so many people.
    So i am learning a lot, cannot thank you enough.
    Would love it you did a video on the brains reaction to withdrawal.

    "low dopamine --> low prolactine".
    Well that's wrong. It's the opposite actually. Dopamine inhibits prolactine secretion from the tuberoinfunibular pathway through D2 receptor agonism. I.e. high dopamine --> low prolactine and vice versa

      Could be many things. If you are a heavy bleeder, it could be loss of too much iron. Iron deficiency and anxiety are very related, as iron is needed to make both serotonin and dopamine. I get anxiety a week before ovulation until just after and i think its due to hormones....during that time in your cycle your estrogen is high (activating hormone) and progesterone is very low (like none). Progesterone is the calming hormone. After ovulating and progesterone rises my anxiety melts away and I feel so much better. Thanks GABA! I'm like the opposite of people with PMDD. I feel horrible from like day 6-14 and much better days 16-4.

If the neuro chemical level cannot be tested how precisely the up and down of these neuro chemicals can be predicted. These are about living human beings if she refers to it is difficult to understand such an explanation can be made empirically. Ofc these are hypothesis made out of anomalous distribution or regulation found studying mental disorders on psychiatric or neurological patients.

    What are the things people do can cause comicals to be unbalance?

    • @DocSnipes
      @DocSnipes  23 години тому

      Thank you for your question! There are a variety of factors that can lead to imbalances in brain chemicals (neurotransmitters) and hormones. Stress, poor sleep, lack of physical activity, an unhealthy diet, and even certain medications or substance use can all contribute to these imbalances. Mental health conditions like depression or anxiety can also affect how neurotransmitters function in the brain. On the flip side, things like regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and stress management can help support better balance.
      Is there a specific lifestyle change you’re curious about when it comes to supporting brain chemistry?

    • @nicolecrowson9671
      @nicolecrowson9671 7 місяців тому

      Thats because you cant treat ADHD at all with SSRIs. ADHD is a low dopamine and/or noripinephrine problem. Increasing serotonin usually makes people feel more content, less anxious, but also more apathetic, less motivated and more tired. You may be taking a more activating SSRI now though, like Prozac. Still not going to treat your ADHD though!

      @@DocSnipes Lots of jumping around makes it hard to follow. If you pick certain main points and leave on those main points using The detail it would help.
      For exampleLook at motivationAnd show how that ties together the HPA access thyroid FunctionAnd how blood sugar plays a role. There's a lot of other things that could be Mentioned but if you start with a major symptom and limpton and then walk down the most influential secondary Tertiary and so forth it will lodge in memory better.
      Repetition can help...but there is a better way.

      If under a lot of stress progesterone gets converted to cortisol. Also too much of anything is not good, it may have been too much and causing an imbalance. Everyone is so different!

      @DocSnipes  3 роки тому

      There are too many individual variables to quantify that blindly. Age, reason for imbalance, duration and severity of the imbalance, genetics, nutrition, current stress level, sleep quality, confounding physical conditions, gonadal hormone imbalances etc.
