Just wondering if I could use a smart message assigned to a switch to “turn on” or ¨Turn off¨ fthe expression pedal. For now my expression pedal usage is quite simple, just one CC bank message. Or maybe the other option is to not have the expression pedal send any CC messages until it’s pressed? I just remember trying to use one, and finding it a nuisance in some situations. Mind you , I haven’t done any testing for a while…many thanks! Love the videos!!
There isn't a "exp off" message at the moment, but you could always use the "target exp message" smart message to switch between the message that "works" and a dummy message that doesn't target anything?
This is ridiculously powerful stuff :) My brain is firing with ideas!
I am a mIdiot
🫂 keep learning - doesn't take long to get the hang of it! watch some "introduction to MIDI" videos and you'll be getting the hang of it in no time!
