You are absolutely the best teacher on UA-cam. You are very precise and detailed in your instructions. Best of all, the piece you are working on is always in frame. As a beginning beader it so frustrating to hear instructions but not see what is being done because the work is out of frame. I also notice that you reply to every comment. I don't see that very often either. Thanks so much for being so good.
+Kathy Boynton Hi Kathy, thanks for the nice compliments. I do try to stay in frame. There are times i am not in frame but its all a learning experience. I see what i did wrong, then i try not to do that again.
Love this bracelet ... and it would be beautiful in all white and silver .... I need to get some beads ...AGAIN !!! Thanks for another great Design Gina !!!
This is just beautiful and I love that you always give cheaper alternatives for the beads, and you just use regular beads. Some videos use every new bead that comes alone and I'm left looking longingly at their creations and not being able to get the beads I need!
Hi Anne, I like the new beads too, I will do a few tutorials here and there with them, but, I prefer to use my huge stash of the traditional type beads. I know there are lots of people who want to do the same. I also do not believe that only certain brands and types are worth using. I like to make an assortment of pieces with different levels of beads. Some people prefer to buy pieces that are pretty but they won't go broke buying it. You can offer these pieces to them and make a sale almost every time. I love the high end beads but I love cheaper ones too. It's all in the quality of craftsmanship and creativity that make a difference in your quality of pieces, not so much the beads. It's very limiting to only use expensive beads. It also narrows your selection of pretty things to work with. 👍🏻😜😀🌹
This is beautiful! It looks complicated but I see it's just a right angle weave with some really cool embellishments. I'm gonna do this with a two needle method.
April, cannot reply to your comment. Check your settings and adjust to allow responses. Anyway, I have only tried ten pound so far because when I went shopping I wasn't sure what to buy. I hadn't tried it, but I knew the diameter was smaller than Fireline, I figure 10 pound would be like 8lb in Fireline and it is close. But I think when I go to the sporting goods store again I will pick up a few other sizes to experiment with. It is better to work with than Fireline, I like it.
I apologize. I will have a look and see what I need to adjust in the settings on my tablet to fix that. Thank you for the info. I was looking at the Nanofil at Walmart and really liked the feel of it. Good to know that it is better to work with and look forward to your comments with regard to the other sizes. Take care!
hi Gina, this bracelet is much more then very pretty i would say it's Gorgeous & very Elegant & Feminine plus i love the sparkle effect of this amazing Design, i've always say you're to humble sweetie lol! anyway thank you for this great tutorial Gina, i really enjoyed watch this Fabulous project to do!
Hi Sylvie, glad you like it...just trying to dust off a few old designs I tossed aside. I always seem to reject designs, then later, I find them and think they are okay...I'm weird!😜
Hubba hubba, i love this and your right, it would make a really nice bridal piece !! Your on fire at the moment Gina !! wish i could just come up with designs, it doesn't come natural to me at all ;-( i spend so much time looking at the darn beaeds and trying to put types and sizes together that designing with them just tires me out lol . So thank you for your hard work , i totaly respect all you do for me ...i mean us ...lol :-) take care lovely lady , keep them coming you really are on a roll x
Hi Jane, I just grab a bunch of beads and play until something comes out. But, I have had difficulty finding time lately, so I made a few of patterns I designed a while ago but never used. Makes it easier, that's why they are coming so fast...LOL, I cheated.😜
Hahahaha, well I love your cheating. I do need to sit with the beads and be a bit more patient, I have done a couple of nice designs in the past, but my brain doesn't seem to want to work just lately lol. Well I can't thank you enough for your hard work really appreciate you x
Hi Gina, I absolutely love your tutorials. Your voice is very easy to listen to and I enjoy your humour while beading. I wanted to ask about the Nanofil thread. When you use it do you always use the 10lb weight, and what are your thoughts comparing it to Fireline? Thanks!
Another beautiful bracelet. I'm not too fond of the large pearls so I might tweak it a bit using 6mm and 4mm and see what happens. But thank you for the tute.
Actually I like it with and without the top embellishments.........the look without the top embellishments gives a very simple looking bracelet......while with the top embellishments it looks fancy and glam
Really beautiful! I did not quite understand what you meant near the end about the half hitch knots. I saw the first one but after that? You go down the entire one side and ...? Sorry it was all great to follow until then I cannot picture what you mean. I guess I am asking how far down for the half hitch knots at the end of making the bracelet. Thanks!
You can sew through tying as many knots as you would like. It's not something you have to do exactly the same as I do it. Just make sure your weave is secure then cut off your thread.
Hi Gina another beautiful bracelet. I was just wondering would you be able to do a tutorial on a Beaded four whole Button Ring you are a great teacher regards Ann x
HI Gina . This is so pretty & love the design. What if I want to do a necklace using the same design . How would I be able to make it curve so it doesn't flip back !! Thanks Gina for sharing your beautiful designs.
Ahhh Gina, it feels like Christmas, so many new gifts ( of your tutorials) I'm going bead shopping right now...actually question, do you prefer the nanofil to fireline? I was thinking of getting some. Thank you so much again and always...Blighty fan..Nic x
Gina are u going to make a necklace that can mach the bracelet because I love the bracelet, I will like to thank u for all your time and good work. Maria
thankyou this is a great bracelet -Im making some for presents. I dont know what burn your thread down is so would appreciate if anyone can explainit to me thanks Bron
Hi Bron, you leave a little extra thread after knotting and use a lighter to burn it into a little blob that acts like another knot to keep the thread from slipping back into the beads. It only works with fireline or Nanofil.
thanks for the explanation. Ive done my beading with Nymo D as that is what I had handy and it seems ok but maybe not as strong as what you used -dont know if its available in Australia.Love your pattern xx
Hi Gina, I see that you are now using Nanofil. Is it as easy to use as the regular Fireline? I know that it is a mono fishing line as I went out to Amazon to find out more about it. Are you using it now due to usefulness of the thread because it doesn't knot as easily or due to cost of more bang for your buck? I see on Amazon that it is available in different colors and weight. You indicated 10lb in the description but what color would you recommend? I know it might seem as though these are silly questions! Just want to invest in the right stuff. As always it's a beautiful project you never make anything else. Hope you are doing well and I send my best to you and yours. Cheers from Indy. Thanks Gina! 😀 Barb
Hi Barb, I do like the nano...They call it unifilement, whatever that means😜 but it feels like a very smooth, strong thread. It works just like Firline, but, it frays less. I have only tried the 10lb, as it is smaller in diameter at the same weight in Fireline. I have the color "Clear Mist" I honestly do not know all the colors and sizes available yet. I bought mine at a sporting goods store. I am however, going to check into it further. I like it a lot!🌹
Love the bracelet. Will definitely make it soon. I was wondering if the button is made out if shell or just plain acrylic, and how many in a pack. Tried to look for it at walmart, but couldn't find it. Thank you.
I hope to become as good as you but it will take time for this bracelet as well I do not use any material you use I hope I can do well, too, because all the material is very expensive I hope to find all the right substitutes I always follow you and download all your videos
+Laura Santero I am happy to know you are out there watching. I think it is great that you are learning to substitute beads for what you have, that is the way to learn to design and think through a piece on your own. It is a good thing!
I took the whole thing apart, I searched my stock and I found some roundels, I had used 4 mm bi-cones. It made the a big difference. I even got to use a button. I'll post a picture on FB later. Thanks for your tutorials, I really enjoy being able to use beads I have on hand.
You did see it, you liked it; Its the one with the earrings and a plain necklace. They're swarovski pearls in smoky topaz, and 6 mm round crystals with the rondells and seed beads in antique bronze.
So I used the double thread on your southwestern bracelet and now I know why I don’t see it used very often lol. It’s...very interesting trying to keep it from getting tangled. Possible but probably the same amount of work goes into keeping it untangled as it would to just go around it twice. Just wasn’t sure if you’d tried it is all.
So as usual your tutorials are wonderful and the project is beautiful. Out of curiosity since I noticed that you generally always go through units more than once which is awesome but have you considered setting your thread up so that it’s folded in half that way every pass is like two passes. Seems it would be faster but I’m still new so just thought I’d ask you. Thank you!
I love the beautiful twists that you did to this classic design. You made it really unique! Thank you Gina for sharing another great design with us!
You are welcome, happy to do it. I am also happy that you like it🌺

Thank you Gina! Now I know what to do with the large pearls I have hanging out in my beading cupboard! :) Pretty Bracelet!
Yes, indeed! I say that's a good plan!

The bracelet looks good even without the top most embellishment
I agree💐
Hi Gina,
I absolutely love your tutorials. Your voice is very easy to listen to and I enjoy your humour while beading. I wanted to ask about the Nanofil thread.

beautiful and simple.....
+glo a santos Thank you!
Another beautiful bracelet. I'm not too fond of the large pearls so I might tweak it a bit using 6mm and 4mm and see what happens. But thank you for the tute.
Yes, you should be able to tweet it,maybe 8 and 6mm might work better...all you can do is try😜😀
I wonder if I could use the 8mm rather than the 12mm Thanks.
Actually I like it with and without the top embellishments.........the look without the top embellishments gives a very simple looking bracelet......while with the top embellishments it looks fancy and glam
True, it would be pretty without the top embellishments, but I just have to have that bling🌹
lol......yup i agree......:-)
I thought I saw all your video's , I guess I miss one ! I better look harder ! Lol
Perhaps you should, LOL👍😜
I love love it
Good! That makes me happy!😜
it is soooooo pretty thanks but about making 2 lines and conect them forming V shape to make a necolace
Sure, try it, should work.👍

HI Gina . This is so pretty & love the design. What if I want to do a necklace using the same design . How would I be able to make it curve so it doesn't flip back !! Thanks Gina for sharing your beautiful designs.
+miriam shakra That's hard to explain in text. You will have to make a V shape by shift the RAW stitch in the center unit.
Perfect !!!
Thank you
That would b great thank u 😊
😀😜😎

Gina are u going to make a necklace that can mach the bracelet because I love the bracelet, I will like to thank u for all your time and good work. Maria

+Anneliz Dinica actually, I think it is acrylic made to look like mother of pearl. If you have hobby lobby try shopping in their button section
+Anneliz Dinica I think there was two or three in the package, don't remember.
Thank you. I will .

+Joselia Ferreira gracias 🌷
Hi Gina,
I just came across this and it is absolutely gorgeous. I will try my hands on one and my question to you is, can I sell it once I make it?
Yes, you most certainly can.
@@GinasGemCreations Thank you. Just wanted to me sure.
Sorry quick fingers...*make
I hope to become as good as you but it will take time for this bracelet as well
I do not use any material you use
I hope I can do well, too, because all the material is very expensive
I hope to find all the right substitutes
I always follow you and download all your videos
+Laura Santero I am happy to know you are out there watching. I think it is great that you are learning to substitute beads for what you have, that is the way to learn to design and think through a piece on your own. It is a good thing!
tank you
Hi Gina, what wud b the price for this bracelet for sale? Thxs
How can this be modified to size 10 pearls? I don't like the 12, they are a bit heavy for me
Do he pattern the same just use less seed beads, experiment, find the amount that goes around the beads nicely.
класс! спасибо!
🌸🌹😀
Good grief Gina; my bracelet slid right out of my hand! I'm going to have to chop off some of the middle lol.
Yes, definitely sounds big, drop a unit or two.😜
I took the whole thing apart, I searched my stock and I found some roundels, I had used 4 mm bi-cones. It made the a big difference. I even got to use a button. I'll post a picture on FB later. Thanks for your tutorials, I really enjoy being able to use beads I have on hand.

Hi, beautiful, but I am stuck do you have written instructions?

I don’t know how well that would work, honestly. I have always used it single. It’s worth a try.
