I don't know what she did nor I remember her name, but I only know she requested help from Tang Dynasty China in a fight against Goguryeo and Baekje. @@Linfamy I got arreated last year for " improper storage of a class B medication" . Due to me screwin around and accumulating a few arrests in my teens and early 20s(marijuana distribution, minor in possession of alcohol, etc. typical teenage trouble) I was offered 6 months in jail or a year probation . 9 months into probation I violated the terms of my probation, according to my probation officer ( whom I never got along with) by being late , or as she claimed, missing mandatory meetings. as a result I was forced to serve 5 months in county jail and take a felony charge. Many lessons learned. Probably the biggest being never to judge a book by its cover . I met some INCREDIBLE people in jail. Some VERY talented people, good people. Lots of good people, such as myself, can end up in shit positions and situations in life . Not everything is cut and dry, black and white. So I passed my time reading and helping tutor the guys working towards their GEDs and what college courses were available. Of course I was especially helpful teaching these guys history. In retrospect I learned alot about myself , about how screwed up our judicial system is, how our prisons are FILLED with ( I'd estimate 89% with non violent offenders, mostly drug addicts or drug dealers). Most important of all I learned that good people can EASILY end up on the wrong side of the law(such as myself). I served 5 months, it was an experience , one I wouldn't take back(believe it or not).
Wow that's quite a story. Yeah I think it's ridiculous we jail non-violent drug offenders. I'm glad you're out now, but how's that felony charge going to affect your job prospects?

It seemed like the well-known AE86 drifter had quite a historical surname lol
I thought Fujiwara was the Japanese equivalent of Schumacher.
You forgot to mention the renaming incident following the oracle! She renamed Wake no Kiyomaro to Wakebe no Kitanamaro!
Ya, can't include everything though :p
Very impressive !
👍🏻
Hilarious and educational, I LOLed
Glad you like :D
This story is already longer than the British monarchy and it’s not even 1000 AD yet.
Over-the-top flattering comment.
Exceedingly thankful reply.
I love this video
"killing is useful"-Linfamy
It sure is..
@Instrumentality1000 good rule of thumb
Killing is Useful.
CK2 in a nutshell
History in a nutshell :p
Every time there is an Empress, the country she ruled went into deep shit. The funny thing is that deep shit is not caused by the Empress incapability, but rather the opposite.
Empress suiko and empress jito were good rulers
So Dogyo was the High Sparrow?
Correct :p
0:23: I guess that means Mayfair and Park Lane in English.
Didn't know it's different in the UK
@@Linfamy I didn't realise it was different in the USA. It must be the only board game that changes depending on which country you're in.
@@Linfamy By the way, your videos are great!
Haha thanks for watching!
Rasputin: "Dokyo-sempai, notice me."
*sees "Tyler"* Tyler, you're immortal?
"Lovey dovey, pokey pokey"
😉
Koken was smart but had sad ending
Me:staring at murder
Murder:staring back at me
The fortune teller got promoted into what? What possible career path here, a divine messenger? Cosmos commander?
Koken was savage.
3:55 "A clan of squirrel tamers", just sounds so useless
Basically the OG Game of Thrones
Totally
I do love some Japanese imperial court politics👌
Totally :)
Nobody:
Koken: Hippity hoppity the power is now my property
Your the best
No you are
Dokyo kinda reminds me of Rassputin
0:51 I CANNOT BREATHE
:D
Excellent end moral XD
😅
I kinda wish Dokyo succeeded. The idea of Buddhist priest being an emperor sounds incredibly baddass.
What if Dokyo would have become the emperor
Ugh I hate waiting for these to come out I hope after we get done with the main history series we can go on to Korea or China
Haha sorry, I'm only one man :)
@@Linfamy nah man I understand I only hate waiting because it is so good man I love what your doing and definitely love the comedy
👍
This oracle thing describes how the WHO interprets research.
They didn't have a "bed" to share so they shared the same "pillow" :-)
Poor emperors back in those days, didn't even have beds...
@@Linfamy But they had entire floors on which to frolic with their naughty monk lovers....
"Oh monk, you so naughty"
"Stay disciplined... stay disciplined..."
I guess you can say Junnin might just be a simp, a selfless one
Holy Hell , I have so much catching up to do. Took a shot at probation and my history loving ass ended up teaching a course in the local county jail for the past 5 months.
I'm back, and have alot to catch up on it seems. Been gone since the korea episodes.
Glad to see my favorite channels still doing there thing
Hi Frank! Glad to see you back. But probation, what happened??
Well, teaching a history course sounds like a blast anyways, history of what?
Really close friends. Lol
2:06 Buddhist power: it works, b*tches.
👍
Sup, I’m in the comments now, deal with it
Haha sup!
He ran into an enemy's spear?! How does that even happen? lol
Dokyo sounds kinda like Rasputin lol
I feel bad for Junnin, but hey, at least he wasn´t executed.
In video he was killed, so what is the difference!
道鏡 = Rasputin
草
Mm hmm
Nibutani body pillow.
Wenis = flattering, right?
Road runner is always a god
Haha I was always on the coyote's side..
Naaaah Road runner was always my(insert n-word)
I wanted him to catch the Road Runner justtt once :p
He got thicc plot armor
How does he run so fast with all that plot armor though
