  • Perseverance is praised in this wistful video collage. Tenacity, the words remind us, can transform falling into walking, failure into success. This is true for relationships, the life of the individual and the life of civilization.
The minimalist song is by Laurie Anderson from her Big Science album. Her music is available on iTunes, Amazon and elsewhere.

Well, that's me. But the nature of collage is that I've "borrowed" from a lot of other creators. So I'll take credit for the pacing of scenes and development of the themes (Lauri Anderson's poetic lyrics make that easy) which is the "art" or craft of collage making of any sort. Is there a particular clip for which you want to track down the original source? If it's the swimming clips, I was able to dig out the clip that I saved to reveal it WAS Naughty Boy - Runnin' (lose it all) ft. Beyoncé, Arrow Benjamin. But that video only show lyrics now. I think this is the real source: Naughty Boy ft. Beyoncé, Arrow Benjamin - Runnin' (Lose It All) [Official Video] ua-cam.com/video/eJSik6ejkr0/v-deo.html
I was able to see a few of your videos and find your music on iTunes. You have a beautiful voice and engaging singing style. I'm really what is known as a "primative" artist with no formal education in video editing (although I was a Humanities major). What education I have in video editing comes from my UA-cam viewing which I explain in my text for my playlist called Creative Mentors (especially Meredith Monk): ua-cam.com/video/Go5vWK4winU/v-deo.html
This Walking and Falling video was made using the free Windows Movie Maker. A fortuitous hard drive meltdown forced me to find HitFilmPro, a great, fun-to-use piece of video editing software, which I have been using for the last couple of years (an example Walking and Falling). They have a free version you can try called HitFilm Express.
      Keep creating!
