I really don’t know why he did it to himself, those rom hacks aren’t made to be able to speedrun them. They challenge expert players’ platforming strategies and knowledge of exploits, and Frame kept trying to do it as fast as he could. He does have a few WRs under his belt, but it’s for extreme rom hacks, who even cares? He’s more well known for his freak outs than his WRs, it’s quite sad all his hours wasted on playing was for nothing.

football is also a game yet the people watching it get salty when their team does badly. and players can get angry themselves, you can say it's just a game and you shouldn't take it seriously, but you can also tell that to footballers and football fans

Swallowbirdie i tried it once. Kingdom Hearts 1 FM PS4. Because of the trophy. I did it in 4 hours and 17 minutes. I didn't remember where the last mushroom was and... The heartless waves before FB didn't work out like they should.(Forgot to summon Simba and after summoning him i almost died)

It is illogical to blame a hobby for someone's behavior. They are in charge of their behavior, are they not? Also, ever person's brain is different, so each reaction is different. If speedrunning was truly bad for you mental health, every runner would behave like this. I can personally tell you that I've had much worse fails (such as dying in final castle of New Super Mario Bros. 2 on Top 10 pace (its a popular game with a lot of competition)) and shrugged it off. Honestly, I'm tired of people judging a good hobby from the .001 percent of raging degenerates that do it. It's a high stress hobby, but people are in control of their reaction...

The Goose clip is a good example of how someone's psychology can affect how they feel about what they do. Not that you need to be as repetitive and refined as a speedrunner to feel that frustration, either. Running Dam is 2017 is a black hole of optimization that takes a runner's happiness as the price of admission.
