.Wow my good friend. You deserved that beautiful piece. Just by accompanying you I already felt frozen. A place that has so many broken points must have a SMOKER for you. Woohoo. BLESSINGS TO MY FRIEND.
Cool cool. Gotta love them Pitkin chert points. Good call on the blunt brother, most would of tried to slick that one past Kudos. Darn killerpoint had to flip rocks to find it. Tells me you have competition there. It is a nice piece has that Bolen look...... 😁 Thanks for sharing brother.
Thanks zap, it might be im not sure on the type. You know better than me. For some reason the points get stuck under those rocks at that spot. If you don't flip em your not gonna do good there. I love the Pitkin to. We have plenty of it here.
I thought maybe to, ive found a couple others at that spot I thought might have rockin chair base like a type of Bolen. Thanks for watching brother. Can't wait for another of your videos good luck my friend
Finally! Been waiting on a video from ya! Like Tillers said im thinking also a Decatur point. I copied some info on decaturs for ya. A small to medium size, serreted, corner notched point that is usually beveled on one side of each face. The base is usually broken off (fractured) by a blow inward from each corner of the stem. Sometimes the sides of the stem and backs of the tangs are also fractured, and rarely the tip may be fractured by a blow on each side directed towards the base. Bases are usually ground and flaking is on high quality. Basal/shoulder fracturing also occurs in Dovetail, Eva, Kirk, Motley and Snyders. Unfractured forms are called Angelico Corner-Notched in Virgina.
@thepeopledownriver9948 So far this year or ever? Cus IMO that graham cave you found last year is still in my mind 😆 I just found my first graham cave last tuesday and it's clearly a knife as its crescent shaped on one side..made of the Exact material yours was! I was super happy cus there was 2000 footprints on the banks but none of them stepped even 3 ft into the water...I love when other ppl are pure bank walkers 😆
Thats awesome man , I always try to keep an eye out for em in the water. That one your talking about is definitely one of my favorites, not to mention it's little brother I found the next trip out exact same shape and material. I wouldn't doubt same indian made em both. Have you put out that new video yet, I seen your preview the other day
