Well, Canopus Cats and Kurita Kittens...I was challenged to make this video by viewer bruced648. It was something I knew I could do, but the HOW...until I thought hey, let's do another one of these cockpit vids. Except this time, I was able to make use of a small, hand constructed BLUE SCREEN rather than my usual green screen. I am pretty pleased with how that background turned out. Pay attention, the sky moves. I am kinda proud of that effect.
This is also my first foray into the world of stop-motion animation/photography. It is a very rudimentary experiment, but I am happy with it nonetheless. I really wanted to sell the idea that the minis were moving, and I did not want my hand in the frame, as I thought that would just break the immersion (it's what I had to do last time before I had this idea). So I changed it up there.
Otherwise, this is how I build lances. I eyeball it, ask myself what I want and weight it against what I already have. There's a lot that comes from the experience of just using these things over and over ad nauseam, but understanding the purpose of each machine is a great help in constructing a force, because at least then you know what it's built for. With that, you'll have an idea of whether or not it's something you want to work with or whether you want to move on. As you understand each role, things like armor, speed, and armament will start to become more important to you and be able to be seen more clearly, to give you an effective idea of how the machine should be played.

Really good entry level classic game building here. This is the type of content that helps newer players get more into the nuance. Well done bud!!!
The production style on this
😙👌
More content just like this!
Lance building 101. Good summery Tuck.
Thanks for putting together this talent... plus me for some reason. :)
Good food for thought
thanks for this! i just started playing and this helped a lot 🙏
Fantastic
Awesome thank you!!!🙂👍
Well done sir. Keep 'em coming.
I absolutely agree! Each new video I’m on the edge of my seat! I love how descriptive the videos are. Definitely got a lot of my Mech questions answered because of the content 😁
First of all that voice!! I will absolutely listen to anything you say😍 second sounds like with scouts check if the coast is clear. If you have a plan and your scout is hit, then what?
If your scout is taken down, you just have to do things the old fashioned way: don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes. If it moves, we can see it. If we can see it, we can shoot it. If we shoot it, it will bleed. If it bleeds, we can kill it. Grab the sticks and watch your lanes ...
And thank you for your kind words. Those gestures mean a great deal to me.
Scorpion Mentioned.
I do like the Scorpion. I know it gets hate, but I still dig it. I got me an old school metal one. 😁
Crushingly disappointed the Atlas didn't say "It's clobberin' time!" instead.
That's actually being reserved for later. There's been at least one clue in a previously released video, so don't worry, your disappointment will be...Avenged. 😏😁
Oh no... The Ambusher Role units remain hidden.
Meh. I can ambush with any unit. "Ambusher" as a role seems ... well, generic. I'm curious as to what units are good for setting up an ambush lol.
"When catching the enemy off guard, I like to use the Ronco Brand Ambusher!"
I said we're doing this MY way. Not anyone else's way. 🙄
