Of course they are, they come in varying shades just like black people even if you don't see them represented in media. I like that they had Asians in the murals too.
It is safe actually it's even FDA approved and used as an active in medication or skincare. It's stable with a low risk of allergies, well tolerated on babies, excema skin, sensitive skin...especially on people with extremely dry skin, damaged that lacks sebum/oils.
