GOT MY STEALTHS TODAY ordered them custom made 6 days ago and they arrived at my door today....so of coarse i had to go do a round of golf...OH MY I LOVE THEM straight and a club to a club and a half further than my PXG Gen 2 SGI irons...and nice soft feel....love love love them....cheers from Canada
I hit these yesterday while getting fitted and felt great with a extra stuff shaft on the 7 iron. I was hitting about 15 yards further and much straighter than any other club during my fitting. Improved angle off the face, increased spin and reduced side spin. I shoot around 85 and am upgrading from some 2002 pings
I spent time with both the Stealth and Sim2 Max OS. I liked the look of the Stealth, both from above and behind. Its a better looking club than the Sim2. (at least in the bag) . But I have to say, the Sim2 was a much more comfortable striking club, much less vibration, and it seemed to hit plenty long. I also felt the Stealth was more likely to ("over draw") and more difficult to fade. In the end, I was a bit worried about stopping the ball around the green, in the end, I went with Sim 2 Max OS. They feel really good.
I watched a number of videos before I bought the TaylorMade Stealth irons with graphite shafts after my fitting. My last fitting in 2004 just shows how far technology advanced with more data to keep MINITAB happy. This means I really appreciated Joel's organized approach to his review. Please just show me the results of your swings and concentrate on the review of the data (which is what he does in the video). Much appreciated. Secondly, with my rotator cuff impaired arm and my 70-year-old body, I must admit my results on the computer mimicked what he demonstrated, adding to his credibility. Lastly, all the reviewers I saw gushed over the club appearance. All well and good, but I don't grade myself on looks, I want results on the course and this video demonstrates that appeal.
hello, I am handicap 10 do you think this iron will suit me I am 52 years old I have a moderate speed swing, I am looking for an easy to play series, with a gain in distance. Last question the lofts being lower the apex is it not too low, and given the orientation of the face the trajectories do not pull too much to the left? thank you
Brilliant video mate wouldnof loved to see you hit out the heel and toe to see how good the forgiveness is😅 us average golfers love hitting out of the toe haha
It's way to big for me. I like bladed clubs. But the tech is legit. I game the Apex pro and the tunscin and dampening they added is amazing. Ball goes higher and more accurate than previous model.
Swung these for reference next to P790, ZX5, and T200.. Felt like the rest of Taylormade's GI irons of the decade.. Overhyped - carbon accent looked cheap in person, little feel, HUGE distance #s but only because the 7 iron was lofted like a 5. If you want Taylormade GI im convinced you'll be just as happy with new M4 for half the price. At stealth $$, go ZX5.
Don't get your hopes up for custom orders. Been waiting on my p790s since September. They say it will be February. Supply chain problems or not, that's ridiculous.
@@ahastar1141 I knew it would be a while of course, they actually told me November, then they said December, then they said January, now they are saying February. I think if they hadn't told me all the fake dates it might have been better customer service at least. That made it worse no doubt
It kills me, as a 5 handi , would not go in my bag. No , you are going to hit a 6 iron that shotgun patterns all over the place instead of this hackers club that hits the exact same shot over and over again. Ego. Kills. Score.

Is it so straight because of your swing?
Should get a not so good ball striker to use them

Have a set of Taylormade Rsi 1 irons. Would I see a dispersion improvement? With the Steaelth irons ? Thanks
I wonder what the decent angle is going onto the green are you able to stop it with the low spin numbers.

I've had a custom fit for these and ordered a set of 7, I'm so looking forward to getting them.

If I'm buying game improvement irons, I don't want it to be compact, that would be counter productive to what it's supposed to do.

Looks like they’re kinda doing what Ping has done between the G400 and G410 but resembling the G425. Looks much better anyway.
Launch and spin are not very consistent I’d hate that back to front dispersion
Has anyone had any issues with these irons. Low out of the face seems to go off like a rocket and not in a good way

I mean you had to know you’d be waiting a while when you ordered. Especially after last year taylormade launch having major delays as well

I have really been lucky then. I ordered my new P790s in the middle of August last year and got them at the beginning of September.

This club will only highlight how consistently bad I am. LOL
TM will put anything in their irons to make it seem it plays better than anything
longer shaft, lower lofts, and less spin, how original from TM, these would never stop on AZ summer greens, no thanks TM
